Synopsis: This device started my car in a matter of seconds after a quick plug and play. I didn't even have to charge the device before it's first use because it came with 100% charge. So, literally I opened the box, plugged in the booster cables and put it on my car and started driving to a car wash. I have a 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid, which I found dead recently due to lack of use because I've been driving my other car during the pandemic. This is my first hybrid which is awesome however the car is virtually electric and I'm not familiar with the electronics and boosting this type of vehicle. The booster charged up my battery and activated all the electronics immediately. Furthermore, after checking, the booster pack still stated 100%. this is one of the best and most affordable purchases I've made as far as car accessories. Not only can it boost my vehicle when I forget to start it every once in awhile, it can also charge my phone via the USB-C cord that was included and it even has an LED light if I'm stuck on the road or visit my family in the country so I can light my path and avoid huge spider webs. Furthermore, the package is so compact that I can keep it in my car rather than charge it in my basement like my old huge booster packs. I received this yesterday, charged it until full, then tested it today on a work van with a 5.4L V8 with a completely drained battery. The van has been sitting for several months, and I left the lights on all morning, until the door chimes would not sound when the key was inserted. I was a bit skeptical after seeing how small, and light this unit is, and how simple it looks. I will also be carrying it on my motorcycle, especially when touring. I jump started the van twice, not only did it start, but it spun the engine over quickly. I don't know how many times I could have started the van, but that is kind of irrelevant. This is for emergency dead battery situations, and it can easily be recharged once the vehicle is running using the USB cable. right out of the box...the cables from unit to end of the clamps are: negative is 11 1/2 inches, positive is 14 1/2 inches... fine for distance between battery terminals, but may be short for negative ground to chassis body metal as an option...for the price, it will do the trick for me. Read more
