I just now received these pants and tried them on immediately due to the variety of reviews. They are of a heavy weight material. Like a medium weight denim. Not really a summer weight fabric. But I'm good with that. They fit me perfectly, and I am about 5'3 1/2 " and I weigh about 155 lbs. They hit me on my ankle but since I can pull them up or down from my hips to my high waist, I guess it would matter how you wear them. I didn't find the waist too tight, in fact I find them to be very forgiving and flexible. I have your typical "mom" waist and I didn't find these too tight restrictive in that area. Went easily over my hips, but since I carry my weight in my waist, my hips are narrower so not a problem. I really liked these pants and find them fun and different. Made incredibly well. Substantial weight fabric but falls exactly like the pictures. I would not recommend for people much taller, or longer legged than I am and I have about a 31" inseam, unless you don't mind them hitting mid calf or higher. I wear them on the hip so the hit right above the ankle. Updating to say the deep purple plum color are just as fabulous as the brown! Ordered them on August 4th. Received them today, August 19th so...a bit of a wait but not terrible. Read more
I like these pants, they are comfortable. The weight of the fabric a little heavier than I expected but the flow and length are perfect. They will be great to wear in the autumn and throughout winter. I ordered purple and the pants are more brownish than the very purple color depicted. Update 11/5/25 It’s cold enough now and I’ve finally had a chance to wear these pants! I wore them once and I’ve already gotten compliments.
