This is good toothpaste. It has a nice minty taste and does look pretty in pink and blue. The tube is a decent size and it foams up nicely while brushing. You don’t need to use a lot to get a good cleaning. However, there is red 40 dye in this so I have stopped using it. I didn’t realize that when I got it or I wouldn’t have chosen this brand. It feels completely unnecessary to add red 40 dye to toothpaste. That’s a horrible chemical that I’d prefer to not use on my teeth and gums. If that doesn’t bother you, then you may like this toothpaste. Also, it is a little pricier than traditional whitening toothpaste made by the more common toothpaste companies. I personally don’t recommend this because of the red 40, but as far as toothpaste goes, it works! Read more

I was looking for a toothpaste to help with the yellowish color of my teeth. This niacinamide toothpaste has been amazing for whitening my teeth - since I started using it, my teeth look whiter and my breath stays fresh all day. Read more

This toothpaste definitely goes over the top with being too concerned with how it looks, but "looking cool" is about all this toothpaste does well. I initially ordered because I want to avoid things like SLS and fluoride, and this checked those boxes. Now, by definition, the lack of SLS is going to mean that this toothpaste won't foam up as much as mainstream brands, but that's by design. But, there are just so many things wrong with this toothpaste, I cannot give it a good recommendation: -UNNECESSARY FOOD DYES! Blue 1 and Red 40 are in this toothpaste. Neither of these are good (and are in the process of being banned in the USA), with Red 40 being the absolute worst -2 different colors/flavors in the same tube, but you can't choose which flavor you want to use at will; you have to use up all the blue before you get to the pink -The flavor is...strange. I don't know how to describe it at all. Definitely not minty, hints of fruity, but difficult to pin down -The ingredients (and expiration date) are ONLY printed on the box, not the tube, so once you throw out the box, you have no way of referencing this information later. -It claims to be good for sensitive teeth. I have had sensitive teeth as a child, but have not had any issues with tooth sensitivity for close to 20 years. After using this toothpaste for a couple weeks, it actually seems to be making my teeth more sensitive again, as I found myself experiencing pain in my teeth from fairly minor things like inhaling cold air through my mouth. Especially with that last point, needless to say I won't be continuing to use this for 3 months to see what kind of whitening effects it has. After a couple weeks, there certainly hasn't been anything noticeable. Read more

I really wanted to like this “whitening” toothpaste, but unfortunately, I just don’t. The taste is very off-putting, with a strange smell and flavor that I can’t quite place. It almost comes across as plasticky — maybe that’s the aloe — but it’s definitely not the taste I want left in my mouth after brushing. Another thing that bothers me is that the first ingredient listed is Sorbitol. Ingredients are usually listed in descending order of volume, so knowing that the largest component is a sweetener feels odd for a toothpaste. I also don’t understand the two different colored pastes being stacked in the tube. Since they have different ingredients, it feels like the design is more about creating a look than serving a purpose. In the end, I stopped using it because I just couldn’t get past the weird taste and smell. I think there are better whitening options out there. Read more

At $12.99 for a 3.5 ounce tube, this Niacinamide Whitening Toothpaste ranks as one of the higher priced teeth whitening products I’ve tried. I have to wonder how much of that price is for packaging. It comes in a pretty pastel pink and blue box, with matching tube. The cap is jewel-like, with clear plastic and gold cap. They’re calling it toothpaste, but in my opinion it’s more of a gel than a paste. That being said, if it does everything it’s listed as doing, I’ll be quite happy with it. My teeth could use some whitening, and for years I have used toothpaste that is geared toward sensitive teeth and gums. I have both. I do like that it strengthens and repairs enamel, and eliminates bad breath and a variety of surface stains. I also like that it removes plaque, and helps with dry mouth. I rate it 4 stars and hope it does everything listed on the packaging. Read more
