Bought a pair when we had some questions about the air quality in the house. We live in a single level townhome with 3 gas appliances. The furnace doesn't have outside air induction. We have a couple of CO detectors, but nothing to tell us about a leak. The units fired right up when plugged in and registered the same (0) level as our old units for CO. Luckily also zero for gas. The alarm tested plenty loud enough. They're attractive and much smaller than our Kidde detectors. I'm knocking them down a star because of the lack of 3rd party certification like UL, CE, etc. Read more
