As a new shoe, there is a break in period which is expected with all Nike products otherwise the shoe feels hard, the fit is tight but comfortable which I expect to get better with time. The arch on the sole is quite interesting as it’s very helpful when walking (as this is advertised as a walking shoe) but it may take a while for your brain to process what’s going on. These shoes run a half size small. Super comfy and nice looking. Had full replacements of both knees and my flat soled court shoes made walking a half mile on my treadmill an exhausting ordeal. The curved soles on these shoes sort of tips you forward as you step, making longer strides and longer walks a pleasure instead of an ordeal. I have been able to increase my walking distance on my treadmill from a half mile to four miles without needing to rest in less than two weeks! We're planning on taking a trip to Europe next year so I'm getting a second pair in case I wear this pair out. If you're old enough to remember Famolare's "Get There" walking shoes from the 1970's and 80's, these shoes are the modern equivalent without the weird wavy sole. Highly recommended! Read more
