You get a flexible yet sturdy plastic rail with a on off toggle for the ac power plug,duel USB plug and the voltage meter. These items can be reconfigured and/or removed and remounted else where. They are all pre-wired with spade connections and only need a power and ground run to it. I'm very pleased and it worked great for my needs (1990 subaru justy) I removed my ashtray and it's frame to accommodate this and with swapping out accommodate connection (if I remember right) with the voltage gauge it fit perfectly. (Switch and voltage gage don't extend as far into dash as the other 2) I did however place a peice of black tape on the switch in fear the the led on the switch would be to bright at night as most leds on a switch like that are. I can't tell you one way or the other if it is because I just covered it out of previous experience. This is a flexible mount as mentioned before but yet it's sturdy enough that I have it barely touching my dash on both sides and the top.(3/8" and less) really just enough to not see the hole on top and barely enough to screw it in on the sides. Yet I have had it installed a month now and use it daily but forgot that it was flexible until I wrote this. I would think that this should fit most cars where you have a odd narrow slot under the radio or replace that slot all together on a double din to single din radio kit. Nilight 4 in 1 ON/OFF Charger Socket Panel Dual USB Socket Power Outlet & LED Voltmeter & Cigarette Socket. I bought it to update my 30-year-old Acura Integra. The car had a section below the cd player which is a single din and I wanted something to fill this area as I already have an amplifier gain knob there and the cubby wasn't being used. Got sick of using cigarette light adapters to charge devices and needed something else. Now with Nilight, the socket panel it's not a simple fitting device for some vehicles it can be made to work like in my case. I had to make 1/8" notches for it to fit and trim needs cut on both ends to look factory. The panel comes prewired basically positive and negative wired and are only two wires to attach to make power. The switch sockets are held in with plastic nuts on the backside make sure there tight before mounting or you have a loose socket. If you wanted to change them around you could or for your own switch if it fits the panel. Durable and they are all powered by the push button switch so you can turn them off. Install requires the location of choice and to hook up a positive wire and negative wire and I would have a fused link which I did. Doesn't come with instructions and or any other hardware so you have to buy that separately. Connections need double checked on the panel some may or may not be loose use needle-nose pliers to squeeze them tighter. This is my second one which is better quality other one I bought was off ebay and junk. UPDATE added pic of look at my pic that's the pocket under the CD player in a integra it fit perfectly almost have to do little shaving of the compartment and notice how the switch panel is tad bit longer I cut and reshaped it to fit it so now I have these switches and where ashtray is a panel of my own I'm making. Installed 2 of these in my old travel trailer. I can now monitor battery voltage, charge 4 USB devices, and have access to 2 lighter plugs for a portable tv, small air compressor and etc….plus power down the ports, all from the convenience of the installed power switch. The people in the reviews putting these on blast, must be overly rough with these! They are plastic and not steel. There are included directions on how to properly disconnect the preinstalled spade connectors that are prewired on this if you choose to do so. I’ve included a picture of the directions. Don’t try to rip the connectors off. They have a little tab that needs to be released. This is a feature to keep them from vibrating and eventually falling off. Very hi quality. All of my lighting and switches are Nilight. They use silver and gold terminals, ABS -PC plastics. The wires are all premade and insulated, eliminating searching for wiring or terminals, and making installation very simple. Best value, highly recommend this product. Read more
I bought in November of 2023 I didn't install install until April of 2024. After only a few months the Rocker switch failed so the unit is unusable. No power in truck bed My fault I didn't contact customer servicece. I assumed incorrectly that I could simply get a replacement Rocker for a few dollars. Not the case. I decided to try Contacting niloght directly to purchase another Rocker but this seemes very difficult. I am past my warranty. That is my fault but this device did not hold up in my truck bed even with a hard topper on it. I don't know how this device can be sold as a marine product. Please give me the Amazon part # for a direct replacement Rocker. Than k you. Read more
