My stomach isn't my BEST feature, so I wasn't sure how these would work. They are okay, but I end up having to adjust the paper bag waist often to make sure it looks right and hasn't gotten kind of folded over... They also have a smell that I hope will eventually go away. But they're not the worst pants. Update: I've had these pants for about a year now and I do like them. They've held up well and the weird smell went away. They look cute with a short heeled sandal and a t-shirt tucked in. I do still dislike the way the waste fabric kind of folds over sometimes while I'm wearing them, but it's not a deal breaker. Fabric is very nice and breathable. Machine washable and friableust be ironed. The paper bag waistband is attractive and flattering. The pants are very comfortable. There is a significant difference between sizes (4-6 and 8-10). The pants fit like the smaller of the size pairings. If you are size 6, order the 8-10. It will be the tiniest bit loose but very comfortable. The 4-6 will be tight. The pice is very reasonable for quality of the garment. Read more

Purchased for my lovely wife of 31 years who has never really had many nice things. I have purchased some porcelain dolls, Precious Moments figurines, Terry Redlin artwork and a number of other items for her. She has never had an exceptional wardrobe but we have been working on it over the past couple of years while being mindful that money doesn't grow on trees around here. Today her wardrobe is making the bedroom closet choke! Along with the clothes there are the shoes, and the purses, and the perfume and pajamas, all of which seem to make her feel somewhat pampered and special, and she is. I have several reviews to leave this morning as I see them piling up in my list of unfinished business and will make it easy for myself by just making kind of a blanket review and post on a number of items. There are many things I like about these pants, but first you should know that I am somewhere around 160 lbs @ 5'3", measure 36DD-31-41, and wear a size 12 in jeans. I bought these pants in a size Large in 5-blue Grey. The things I like are the length. I have short legs and might be able to get away with wearing these with a sandal, certainly a very short heel. I like the deep pockets, and the elastic waist isnt too tight. The overall look is slimming. The medium weight of the material is comfortable, but I probably wouldn't wear them in too warm of a temperature. I'm not a fan of the buttons. Though they follow the seam the bottom two don't seem to be lined up with the others. Maybe I'm not wearing the pants high enough for that, but I have a short torso/waist, and the waist would sit too high on my body if I pulled them up more. Lastly, possibly because I'm not wearing them high enough, there seems to be a little extra material in the crotch giving the pants a weird fold/camel toe look at times. Since the pants aren't flush with that area, it's not my actual anatomy causing this. I'm sending them back, largely because the color made me feel "eh". I ordered the dark blue hoping the crotch situation will be either non-existant or not as noticeable in a darker color. I could say I'll update the review when I get them, but I probably won't. I'm a curvy gal. I'm 5'4 and carry my weight in my butt and thighs. But I'm short. I have a ridiculously hard time finding nice trouser material pants for work, that aren't too long or don't gap in the back, fit nicely in the waist and are comfortable. These check all those boxes!!! The fabric is cool and comfortable, and doesn't stretch out by the end of the day. The pockets are deep enough to hold a phone and keys. I'm a teacher and I bend often, walk around and climb stairs. These pants are excellent for all of those activities without one wrinkle! I usually wear an 8/10 or large. I got these in both sizes and the large fit like men’s khakis on me. Not flattering and looked boxy. The XL is a little baggier/flowy-er. I will say though, the waistband on the large was perfect. It’s a little too big for me with the XL, but that’s worth it to me for the flowiness of the pant legs. I got these in black too and they look so much nicer. Keeping both, but would totally recommend the black over khaki! Read more
