Its so roomy, I over packed for an 8 day cruise and didn't even have to use the expander. Rolls very smoothly. The way the lid is made to have a flat side that doesn't extend past body of suitcase, makes the zipper is a little difficult. The two zippered pockets in lid are so small they are practically useless. They will hold a thin pack of wet wipes or maybe a kindle. The suitcase does seem to be well made.
