We bought it for the purpose of making smoothies and Italian ice cones. It does a great job at crushing all the ice that it reaches. But there was always two or three ice cubes left floating at the top untouched. Overall, it's a great blender and would recommend it, but it does fail to pull the top ice cubes down and crush all of them. Read more
