These have a design and colors to look nice in the room where they are primarily used. I have found they work well and do not degrade in any way with use. Several comments have been made about people expect problems because of how they are designed. The only problems I have experienced over the years is someone dropping and breaking one or spilling coffee on one and not trying to clean it before it is absorbed into the coaster. Read more

They’re super cute and they’re definitely absorbent. The problem with that, is if you use the coasters for any liquid that isn’t clear (like coffee) and you spill a bit (like me), the coasters instantly absorb the color and they become stained. All of my coasters have stains on them now and don’t look great for when I have guests over. If you’re only going to be using clear drinks or you’re really good at not spilling, I highly recommend these. However, I will be purchasing actual marble coasters instead because these ones are ruined. Read more
