NOCO Boost works!!!!! Yeah!!!!!!

BalancedLifeDecember 28, 2025✓ Verified purchase

The NOCO Boost X GBX75 comes through and works like a charm!!!! We have a cabin off the coast of Maine and leave our Subaru Forester at a small regional airport. It had been sitting in the freezing cold for over 6 weeks, with stormy winds and single digits temperatures. I fully charge the NOCO in the cabin and then, leave it on the front seat of the car, so I can use it when necessary. Well, on Dec. 26th, it was NECESSARY. I was able to get the front door open, but the car battery was essentially dead. We cleared enough snow off the front hood, attached the NOCO terminals to the frozen battery, turned it on and prayed it would work. The car had some life immediately, but we had to wait about 3 to 5 minutes. It as freezing sitting in the car, but then, pushing the start button, the car roared to life. YESSSSS. This was a real test and it worked just as we had hoped it would. As the old commercial used to say, “…don’t leave home without it…”. Read more

Top Rated Vehicle Jump Starter

MADPWRDecember 6, 2023✓ Verified purchase

This review is for NOCO Boost X GBX75 2500A 12V UltraSafe Portable Lithium Jump Starter. I've been a NOCO owner for years. My first NOCO was the GB40 that I had for a few years. When the GBX Series came out, I decided I wanted the USB-C connection it offered, and I prefer to have fixed cables for the jumper leads. I really only needed the GBX55 for anything that I might ever need to jump start, but I liked the longer cables and that the cables did not wrap in front of the light on the GBX75. So, the GBX75 won me over. It offers 2,500A for jump starting power, and it doubles as a battery pack. It also features a very nice light. I went with NOCO over the other brands, because all the consumer and professional testing I saw put NOCO at the top for jump starting vehicles. That's not to say all others are bad, but I wanted compact and the best jump starter I could get. Other brands do offer more features though, such as more USB connections and/or built-in air compressor. So, there are pros/cons of the brand you choose, and you have to decided what features are important to you. I also purchased the matching NOCO GBC103 case. The case is very good quality, and the GBX75 fits perfectly in it. It fits all the accessories, but the case really is a lot bigger than it needs to be. As much as I like my NOCO Boost X GBX75, I have noticed I can't get it to a full 100% charge. It appears that that when it is fully charged the green light should become solid. Even having it charge over night the most I get is blinking green for the light. Out of the box it came with about a 50% charge. There are also some things that I would like to have seen on this booster. I would like to see a voltage readout like they have on the GB150, and I would like to see the instructions printed on the top of the device. There is so much blank space on the top of the device that it would have been very easy to print the instructions on it. It has a little sticker on it that says to start vehicle within 60 seconds and power off/on to reset, but it's only a sticker than can peel off. It also doesn't give you instructions about the override button. Again, there is tons of real estate on the device to give clear directions. Also, they charge a lot for the accessories. I would have liked to have seen a bundle package that saved you some money. Read more

NOCO Used to Be Good — Not Anymore UNRELIABLE

JOSHUA C.February 28, 2026✓ Verified purchase

Very disappointed. I’ve purchased a total of 5 NOCO jump starters since 2016 because I originally trusted the brand. The earlier units I bought before 2020 were solid and reliable. However, the quality has clearly changed. This GBX75 stopped working after only 14 months of light use. It was properly stored, never abused, and only used occasionally. Now it won’t hold a charge and fails to power on when needed. A jump starter is supposed to be dependable in emergencies that’s the entire point. Failing just over a year is unacceptable similiar to the other 3 that failed. Out of the five units I’ve purchased, three that stopped working were bought after 2020. I definitely noticed a difference in build quality compared to the older models. They simply don’t feel or perform the same. Based on my experience, these newer NOCO jump starters are garbage compared to what they used to be. I would not recommend buying one now. Read more

A must have if the electricity goes off, and you can charge your phone.

So glad to have it shipped overnight. I got up the next morning to go somewhere and my battery did not start. Lucky I had this to charge the battery so I could go buy another battery. I also like the different adjustments that it has with it. Read more
