I've tried this on my truck battery, which tends to get corroded quickly. I sprayed the cleaner on both terminals and let it sit for a while to work. Rinsed off with water, then scrubbed the terminals with a small brass wire brush. I'm left with clean terminals, and I hope, no acid to continue corroding the terminals.
