Got the device a few months ago and have been using it on my legs. First, it's so easy to use. The settings are not complicated so it was easy to go from level 1 to make sure it felt ok on my skin to the more intense settings for results. There's 1 button, so it's not hard to figure out. It's never irritated or hurt like lasers I've gotten at a med spa. Those always felt like rubber bands flicking on my skin but with Nood, the cooling feature keeps the entire process comfortable. My legs have noticeably less hair after 2 solid months of use so glad I invested in this device over buying several laser hair removal visits which gets really pricey for your legs. I’ve completed a couple of rounds of treatments, here are my thoughts so far: First impression: The machine itself has a sleek and modern design, the chord was long enough to allow me to use it comfortably while it’s plugged into the wall. This device has exceeded my expectations. I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect but I am so happy that this is working. I have been using this for around 3 weeks and the results are very noticeable in both quantity of hair and how quickly it grows back. The results are noticeable very quickly. It was a little tricky to use at first and it takes a bit of trial and error. It has a rectangular flat window on the end of the gun which has to have good contact with your skin to activate, and has to be at a right angle. This is a little tricky on curved areas like chin and upper lip. It will only flash when you have proper positioning. The directions say to use this in manual mode on face but I found the auto mode easier for me. When it activates it tends to startle me a little bit. Directions say you should exfoliate and remove any hair before treating( I like the Tinkle eyebrow razors). There is different strengths of the laser and they advise to start on the lower side. I am currently using level 3 on my face. I did use a higher level on my calf as I was testing this and it did leave rectangular marks on my leg for a few days, so go slow on your face. It is kind of hard to tell where was hit exactly but I don’t think you want to over treat on your face. I figured if I missed a spot I would get it the next time. I feel like the directions could be better but digging around on line I am using this every 3 days and trying to make 3 passes on each area. My problem areas are the corner of chin and outside edge of upper lip. You do feel this and your skin does get hot but it is tolerable. There is a cooling part on this that does seem to help. I put lotion on after using. Overall I am thrilled on how much hair reduction I am seeing and I haven’t even tried the other head yet for the skin benefits. Update: about 6 weeks in using every 3 days with 3 passes per area, hair reduction keeps getting better. I still have some there, but so much better. Read more

This is the only IPL device I've tried and it works pretty decently. Only qualm is the lack of interchangeable heads - you're stuck with just the one size for the entirety of your face/body. Can't really get into crevices and covering larger spans of arms/legs/chest/etc takes a long, long time. Got it on sale, but with the price being close to/more than some of the other IPL devices on here that offer different sized heads I can't help but feel like I could have chosen better. Oh well. Ageless lens broken out of the box. I contacted Nood customer service and after multiple emails over several days, including providing pictures, they offered to send me a new one in a different color than the unit I purchased. Spent hundreds of dollars on this and they wouldn’t provide me a working matching lens. Hairless lens worked well and if the other one did, I would have kept it.
