I've been enjoying my at-home laser hair removal device in just the few weeks that I've had it! This is something I've been wanting to invest in for a very long time. I've shad professional laser hair removal on some body parts and need maintenance sessions, and also have many other areas that I was wanting to have laser hair removal done on, as a very hairy person. Ultimately, a device like this was the best option for both of these wishes. The directions that come with the device are very thorough and on-par with everything I have been told by laser techs from professional laser hair removal sessions. The device itself is well made and lightweight, and easy to store away. There are a variety of heat settings, and 2 laser heads - one for red light benefits, the other for laser hair removal. The only small con is that the device is white, so it gets dirty easy... but it's easy enough to wipe off any marks. Following the directions for testing on your skin and slowly increasing the light intensity, I've had no issues with irritation. The head of the device surrounding the laser gets very cold, so it helps counteract the very brief pulse of heat that you feel when using the laser. I've been using this first on parts of my body that I have never had professional laser hair removal on, and I'm already noticing a decrease in how much hair is growing back and a reduction in hair thickness after just a few weeks. The instructions say to use this twice a week for the first few weeks, which is what I have done. On most body parts, I can go to level 2 or 3 without feeling noticeable "pain" from the laser. I think that I will be able to go up to level 4 based on my skin tone and pain tolerance on most body parts, but will keep it at lower settings for areas around my face. The serum that comes with it is nice, too. It's fragrance free and simple, and makes your skin super soft. Compared to professional traditional laser hair removal, my results are almost identical. While you would only go for professional laser hair removal sessions once per month, my results look like what I would expect from one professional session after using this regularly for the first month. I really enjoy that I can maintain areas that I've had done professionally, and can start from zero on areas that I was long wanting to do, making it well worth the price. I’ve always been skeptical of IPL devices and laser hair removal treatments, mainly because I didn’t understand how they worked, but I will say this one actually does what it says it will. Even after 4-5 uses, I’ve noticed my hair growth has slowed drastically. I used it on my legs and underarms and I think it took about 20 mins total. Super easy and fast. It also doesn’t hurt at all, at least on the lower settings— I haven’t worked up to the higher ones yet, but the cooling plate that’s next to the IPL glass makes a huge difference. I can’t feel heat at all really and the cooling effect feels nice. This is definitely worth the money. I have friends who’ve spent $1k+ on in-person laser treatments and they’ve told me how painful and time consuming the treatments were, and how their hair has started to grow back already which caused some of my skepticism. This device avoids all of that. This device also comes with foldable eye protectors/sunglasses which are a must use, and the user manual has super clear instructions about proper usage and it has a lot of info about the science behind IPL, so now I’m both educated and hairless! Yay! Overall I think this product is sleek, feels super fancy and high quality, and very easy to use with great results. 10/10 would recommend. Read more
I absolutely love this laser hair removal product! For years I have struggled with ingrowns and have tried just about every type of hair removal and this is the only one thats worked for me! I haven't had any irritation or pain from it and have already noticed results after a few uses. The different settings and cooling options are so nice. (especially for the more sensitive areas) The slow grow serum is great and not heavy or sticky on the skin. I highly recommend this if you struggle with ingrowns and razor burn. The instructions were super easy to follow and was absolutely worth the cost. The device works wonders and each treatment is faster and much less painful than waxing. Okay let me preface by saying that I was apprehensive given the cost of this thing. Being blessed and cursed with body hair that grows literally everywhere, I was on the hunt for something that can help alleviate some of the unwanted extra fur that evolution gave me prepping me for the winter months. I tried this out from a suggestion from a friend and gave it shot, even though it was pricier than some of the others I tried. Out of the box, it looks premium. Felt like Apple level design for hair removal, so props for that. Came with everything in the picture and then some. For the first week, I didn't see any amazing results, but after commiting for a couple weeks, I can see why this has good reviews. I definitely notice less hair and more importantly, my skin doesn't feel like it's on fire during the process (if anything my skin feels cooler during the process). It's super easy to use, instructions are clear, and comes with everything you could ask for. I'm excited to see how well it does after a full couple months on the system. I'm glad I got this instead of going to the hair removal "experts" that charge $500 a session. My friend who goes twice a month still has more hair than me. Thanks Nood, you are appreciated.
