Great kit works well, cuts hair great and operates great with newer style charger. I recommend minimal water exposure to washing the motor unit. I wash the hair out and then dry it when needed but my older model got water in it and used to turn on by itself till it dried. So I recommend washing and drying when cleaning or wet and storing it outside the shower in a dry area. The charge on this lasts a long time and cuts alot of hair without quitting after a charge. It's a great size, feels great when trimming hair, is a great price and super easy to use. This is my second one and the only maintainence on these is servicing them with a small bit of dialeteic dialectric grease between the blades. You have to wash the hair and the blades are sensitive to dirt or sand so clean hair before using them is important. The small blade is for trimming and the big blade is for full head hair. It also needs grease occasionally between the blade center of the plastic that operates between the motor peg. The trimmer lasts a long time and is one of the best ones I have ever had. I prefer this over the corded ones. Norelco is always on top of compatibility, affordability and good products. I used to buy a trimmer with changeable blades. This one doesn't go dull fast and it will last a long time if your cutting clean washed hair. Read more
I've been using this set for quite some time now and it has held up very well. Blades have maintained their sharpness and do not yank hairs out of my face. It has a multitude of attachments that are well made, molded nicely, and work properly. The battery life is outstanding, and charges quickly from USB. I also have a Norelco rotary shaver 5400, which is also amazing, a full-sized hair cutting kit by Wahl, and a nose and ear trimmer, also by Wahl. All are rechargeable via USB or battery, as I intend to do some traveling by RV. Besides the number of hair cutting guides, 2 sets for 2 different blade widths, it also has a narrow trimmer, nose and ear hair trimmer, body hair trimmer, 2 adjustable position hair cutting guides, and a narrow foil shaver. The quality is outstanding, and it charges using USB-A so it can be efficiently charged using a power station, instead of a wall wart. Cleaning is easily accomplished under tap water. It's also very reasonably priced and given the initial impression, it should last a long time. It's also a very attractive shaver and comes with a handy carrying case.
