Hope if you are purchasing this product that you read this review. I love the way this coffee maker looks, but it is has some wiring issues. When I first got it I set the time and the timer so I could use the auto brew feature. I don’t drink brewed coffee everyday. I also have an espresso maker and prefer that sometimes. What has happened is that the coffee maker will turn itself on and brew even though I have not turned on the auto brew feature. Fortunately I have been home when that’s happened and it’s happened several times. If there is no water in the coffee maker (because you don’t plan on brewing) it poses a serious fire hazard. A few days after I received this coffee maker I left town. It was before this issue began. For some reason I unplugged some appliances in the kitchen. Something I don’t normally do but I am so glad I did. Because when I returned this problem started happening. I can only imagine what might have happened had I not unplugged it and it had mysteriously turned itself on to brew. I just want others to be aware. I have since unplugged it and will probably only use it to brew coffee when I’m home and only plug it in when I’m ready to do that. . I wish I still had the packing… I would return this but I at least want others to be aware. I really don’t know how it is doing this… I have never had a coffee maker with an auto brew feature do it, but it absolutely is. It got to the point where I started putting just water in without coffee and double checking and triple checking that I had not engaged the auto brew feature and every time it turned itself on and tried to brew. LOVE this coffee pot. I love the reusable filter. it is easy to use. It is the perfect size and brews great tasting coffee. I love the programmable feature so that the coffee is already brewed and waiting for me when i wake up in the mornings. it is a good value for the money. there is no leaking from the water tank or anything else. I love this coffee maker. This is the second product we've ordered. It matches our kitchen decor well. The coffee filter came broken, so I'm hoping it can be replaced, however they did issue a small refund for the broken part. Read more
