I wanted these 4x6 note pads for making a grocery list. They are the perfect size and easy to write on, no issues. The only thing is they are slightly too thick; But, better too thick than not thick enough. The cardboard back is thick and solid. One reviewer said they were like construction paper. No, they are not THAT thick and they're also not rigid. They are at least twice as thick as notepads I have used in the past. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Video included in review. I’m so glad I purchased these Perfect Impressions 3 x 5 pack package of notepads. I was too lazy to drive down to Staples so I checked Amazon for 3X5 inch notepads. Found this product and looked at all the great reviews. I use notepad sheets daily in my house for everything from shopping lists to phone calls, etc. etc. I usually buy the usual 100 sheet per tablet package. Sometimes I’ll use felt pen for taking notes and have to remember to put something under the sheet in case the black felt pen bleeds through. NOT WITH THESE THOUGH. Oh my gosh. I opened the package and pulled out the first bundle of sheets. Pulled off the top sheet and instantly thought I had 2 sheets of paper by mistake. Trying to separate the 2 sheets, I realized it was one sheet that I had pulled off. I hope Amazon continues to carry these Perfect Impressions brand notepads from this maker. The quality of the paper surpasses any notepad I have used in the past. The paper is clean, white and thick. Each sheet pulls off cleanly and evenly from the top and each bundle has cardboard backing. Yes, it may cost more than your usual thinner inferior notepad paper, but it is worth every penny more that you may pay for these. I highly recommend. Please see included video using black felt tipped pen. Thanks Amazon! 👍 Read more

I was so surprised at the quality of these pads for the price. Don't be lured in by other pads with 100 pages, these have 50 because the paper is fairly thick for any memo pads. I'm a law student and stationery fanatic so when I say I'm pretty happy to have these, it's a high bar. Some nerdy details: Paper weight is approx. 24-28 lbs. I compared it to 20 lbs, 24lbs, and 32lbs papers I had on hand. It was about or slightly thicker than the 24lbs. Keep in mind the normal bond printer paper is 20lbs so you're getting thicker paper than usual. Most notepads are terrible because their tissue-like paper weighs 15-16lbs at most. Also see my picture for the glue quality, it's flexible enough for me to fold over and keep writing without being ripped out. Niche use: Fountain pens Smoothness and thickness most similar to the leuchtturm 1917 notebook paper. A little thicker but toothier than Rhodia. Clairefontaine has similar thickness but is smoother than these pads. Tested with my Pilot vanishing point (EF), Pilot Metro (F), Lamy Safari (M), Conklin's and FPR's flex nibs. Any nib M and smaller is fine, very little to no feathering, light ghosting and no bleed through unless you use a ridiculously wet ink. I do not recommend flex nibs, it feathers like a chick' fluffy down, Casper and his ghost friends came for the party and bleeds like...well, you know. It was rough. TLDR; buy this. Strong flexible glue, thicker than normal printer paper, cheap enough for poor students to use freely without defaulting on student loans. Can even use with some fountain pens if you're bougie like that. Read more

I hope they never change the price. These pads work EXTREMELY well with fountain pens. The paper is toothy enough to keep it from smearing easily and allows for enough feedback while writing which makes it easy to write without looking. Great bang for your buck given how many pads and sheets you get in a set. The color is as white as can be and easy to test swatches of inks on as well. I'd buy these by the box full if I could, but shouldnt hoard! Read more

These were great writing pads and whether a rollerball ink or pencil or ballpoint pen, the writing on the pads was consistent and each page was easy to separate from the pack. Read more

I don’t normally write reviews on purchases but these notepads have been perfect. I have used something similar for years and ran out of stock. I tried just regular lined steno type pads but the paper is so thin and they rarely tear away cleanly. This paper is thick and easy tear leaving no part of the paper. It is ideal . Highly recommend Read more

These truly are nice and thick, you can write on both sides if needed with gel pens. 70lb paper does seem like a good balance of thickness and price. Read more
