Hypochlorous acid is so versatile and can be used on pretty much anything! Our bodies naturally make it so it can even be used on skin and around your eyes. It’s gentle while being a powerful disinfectant! So it makes sense that it would work well with soothing and cleaning piercings. This has that mild bleach scent that every hypochlorous acid has. Currently it’s $15 with an extra 30% coupon which is a pretty good deal. I wouldn’t pay the full $20 price for this since you can get huge gallon jugs for a much better deal. They do say that this has 0.02% which is slightly higher than others I’ve used and I’m guessing they rounded that up. But overall, at the current sale price it’s a good value. Read more

I have used various spray from NOVEHA and found them all to be very effective. This comes in an opaque bottle which minimizes light deterioration. The spray works very well rendering fine but wet spray. This is great for after piercing, but also excellent in every day use. I also use this on my hands and feet, and found I got less irritation when using this several times a day. One thing I did realize over time is that natural spray that contains Hypochorous like this should be used up in a few month once opened since its effectiveness declines over time. Read more

Ended up using this stuff more than I originally thought so. I don't have any new facial piercings but in the process of sizing up my guages they sometimes get red and irritated depending on the metal or silicone I use. This has helped relieve some of the redness while also taking out my jewlery. I was pleasantly surprised how well this did so I'm happy to keep it on hand at the moment to assist any irritation I do get. Before I was just using saline to clean. Read more

I got this Noveha Piercing Aftercare spray to use on some of my nearly healed piercings. Typically I use sterile saline to clean newer piercings but I ran out. Since I’d heard hypochlorous acid spray was mild and gentle, I was curious to try it. This is a big bottle of spray so it’ll last me quite awhile. I received this product early September 2025, and it’s best by date is mid-Feb 2027. So far, I haven’t had any issues while using this product. I don’t have any new piercings currently but I plan on getting more in the fall and will be using this spray. I’ll update this review then if I have any concerns. For now, I’m happy because my piercings aren’t “complaining”. Instructions are to clean the area with water, spray onto the piercing area and allow to air dry. I don’t do the air dry method since newer piercings don’t like being wet so I use a portable fan or hairdryer on cool/low to dry the piercing site. Read more

Got a piercing recently. I was a little unsure about using this product. There are no directions in listing. There isn't a lot of product information at all between listing and product for me to fully feel comfortable with what I'm using. I tried it for a few days by spraying it on my piercing as it said on the box. I experienced some bubbling around the piercing and slight irritation. I was not seeing this with the product I was previously using. I discontinued use. There was no subsequent issues after discontinuing use. I don't know I would recommend this because of my experience. I should mention I sometimes have sensitive skin. Read more
