I shopped around for quite awhile and read a lot of reviews on deep wavers/crimpers fmuntil I found this deep waver and what a great purchase it turned out to be! With waist length hair, I do my hair in many different styles, mainly because I don't wash my hair every day due to hard water dryness and build up and I don't like to use a lot of heat on it very often. There are those days in between washes when I have to hide that "not so fresh" look. Dry shampoo works great but I still have to do half updos and such because, with the heaviness of product build up, my hair tends to look a bit limp and oily. This is why I bought this deep waver. It was real easy to use. I love the fact that I can hold the outer part of it without burning my hand and it gives my hair the volume it needs on those unwashed days. The waves are beautiful!! I can't wait to use it on freshly washed hair. I'm sure I'll have even more volume then. This is a definite buy if you're looking for great waves and ease of use at an affordable price! *Note: My hair was due for a wash today (it had a week's worth of product in it) but I had too many things to do before I could wash it and let it air dry (I never blow dry it). Forgive the lighting too. As you can see, I'm in the middle of growing my silvers out but the picture I took of the back of my hair looks dark. Wife loves this for adding waves to her hair. Prefers this type over a curling iron. She has thick hair, so the high heat setting comes in handy. This does take some time to get used to, so best results will take some practice. Read more

The media could not be loaded. It has a spot on the tip of the waver for you to hold the tool shut when in use, the ridges in the inside are nice and thick and give more of a natural wave look. I already have wavy hair, so i love that i can use this to just touch up the pieces that didn’t quite wave with the rest of my natural hair, and this looks exactly like the rest! It’s not a huge wave like i’ve seen some in the market do, the tool heats up fairly quickly, and it’ll show you when it’s heating up through the little light screen, it has a little switch to lock the plates down, or to keep them open. The curler heats up very quickly. it’s ready to use just moments after plugging it in. However, the buttons are easy to press by accident, so I often end up changing the settings halfway through styling. You also need to be careful while using it because the temperature gets very hot. I have used so many other products for the wave curls, and I have finally found the one I love. This product works great. Super easy to you and the wave look actually lasts all day. I have long thick hair and it's hard to find something to get my hair to last. My daughters also love this product. It heats up fast. Great buy for sure.
