I bought the Nuby Thirsty Kids No-Spill Flip-It Reflex Stainless Steel Travel Cup (10 oz, Blue) as a gift for my 2-year-old niece, and it’s been a total hit with both her and my sister! Priced around $12-15, this cup is an absolute gem for keeping a toddler hydrated without the mess. After seeing how much it’s simplified their daily routine over the past few weeks, I’m thrilled with my choice and can’t recommend it enough for parents or gift-givers looking for a practical, durable water bottle for little ones. What I Love: No-Spill Design Saves the Day: The flip-top lid with its hygienic cover is a lifesaver. My niece can toss it in her stroller or drop it on the floor, and it stays 100% leak-proof. My sister tested it with water and apple juice—no leaks, even when it’s been rolling around in her diaper bag. The soft silicone spout is super gentle on her gums, perfect for her age (18+ months). Keeps Drinks Cold for Hours: The 304 stainless steel with double-wall insulation keeps drinks cold for up to 10 hours, which is great for daycare or long park trips. My sister loves that it doesn’t “sweat” and leave wet rings everywhere, keeping her car and bag dry. Toddler-Friendly and Portable: The 10 oz size is just right—not too heavy for my niece to hold, with a comfy handle she loves gripping. It fits perfectly in car cup holders and her lunch bag, and the bright blue color makes it easy to spot. She’s already attached to “her blue cup”! Super Easy to Clean: It’s top-rack dishwasher-safe, and the flip-top comes apart for a deep clean. My sister says there’s no mold or gunk buildup, even after weeks of daily use, which is a huge win compared to other cups she’s tried. Any Downsides? The flip-top takes a bit of practice for younger toddlers to open and close on their own, but my niece got the hang of it in a few days at 2 years old. It’s not a dealbreaker, just something to guide them through at first. Also, carbonated drinks might fizz a bit if shaken, but that’s minor and avoidable. Final Verdict: The Nuby Thirsty Kids Flip-It Reflex Cup is a fantastic gift for any toddler 18 months and up. It’s sturdy, spill-proof, and keeps drinks cold while being easy for little hands to use. My niece loves drinking from it, and my sister raves about the no-mess, no-fuss design that makes her life easier. For the price, it’s an unbeatable value that’s both practical and adorable. I’m already planning to get the purple one for her next birthday! If you’re looking for a reliable, kid-approved water bottle, this is it—highly recommend! Read more

This is a great toddler water bottle. My son easily drinks out of it and it keeps his water cold for a good amount of time. I was disappointed though that the plastic piece that covers the straw part broke off pretty easily. So now the straw doesn't stay down and is always exposed, which means we now don't take it out in public or to his school because he drops it and I don't want the straw hitting the floor. Otherwise, a good one for littles! Read more

Not 100% leakproof if you have a determined toddler shaking it. The silicone straw mouthpiece held up for about 5 months of constant use and recent knack for chewing by kid. Pretty good in that regard. I am researching other type to replace, as the hard handle is a possible hazard. My toddler - introduced to it at about 18 months of age - chooses to face the button outward for index fingers to grasp and press the button to open, so then the handle pressed against his throat which could hurt if he fumbles. Handling that way was intuitive for him at his current strength and dexterity. I wonder if it’s the same for others. I also don’t like how sharp the cup lip is. Also hazardous if a child chooses to drink from an open top. Read more

My 3 year old is a chewer. We're a month in of using this as his only water cup at home, and the straw is still very much in tact with no signs of chewing! Success! The straw is a very thick but kinda squishy silicone. It's perfect! The button to open the straw can be a bit hard for him to press, but he figures it out. It can also be a bit heavy, especially when it's full of water, but it's totally manageable for a toddler. The stainless is great! Overall, I definitely recommend! Read more
