What makes this yoga mat different from others on the market is its foldable functionality. It’s fast to set up, pack up (rolling yoga mats can be a struggle at times especially if you’re on the go. Taking classes in between busy schedules or on the go iykyk) , and I can fold the yoga mat for extra head support when I do ab circuits, (which is a game changer! ) it is also thick, but not too thick for the right comfort level. It is lightweight & also long enough for taller people. The mat is also easy to clean and is durable! I’ve taken my mat to yoga, the gym, and hot pilates. I love the straps it comes in to carry/ hold! With a normal yoga mat, my mat was always slipping out of the strap. I purchased this mat to take on a cruise. It performed very well even on the damp deck of a cruise ship at sea. It is very light weight while still offering excellent cushioning, and it folds up nicely to fit in a standard sized suitcase. Bonus: it comes with a carry strap that doubles as a yoga strap. This yoga mat is the Tom Hanks of yoga mats. The center slice of a square cheese pizza. The supportive best friend you need when you're struggling with your stretches, but in the form of a yoga mat. Reliable, wonderful, and always there when you need it. I bought this yoga mat because I was looking for a solid mat that was convenient to store, and didn't lose it's function after time. Withstanding daily use for almost a month now, this yoga mat still feels as fresh as the day I received it. It could be a little thicker, but the grip on the bottom really holds the mat in place for you to do all sorts of weird stretches. Numu really hit it out the park with this one. I love that it comes with a tote bag so not only can I store it virtually anywhere, I could bring it almost anywhere too. I really recommend it to anyone. I haven't felt this good about buying something in awhile. It's definitely more reliable than Frank Ocean at Coachella. The light blue version is pretty cool. Also, shout-out customer service! This had a very strong smell of I guess foam right out the packaging. I let it sit out for a day and it was still strong. If I touched it at all the smell rubbed off on me too. After I wiped it down with some cleaner it seems to be a bit better. Other than that I love that it folds and it’s a beautiful green color. The padding is good and the strap it comes with is a nice bonus too. So far I’d say it was worth it. Read more
I’ve been super happy with my NUMU yoga mat! It’s incredibly comfortable and easy to use, which is a big plus for someone like me who’s a bit clumsy. I’ve knocked over my water bottle at the gym a couple of times, and cleaning up was a breeze. The durability is excellent, too. After weeks of use, both indoors and outside, it’s still going strong. One of my favorite features is the unique accordion-style folding design. It makes storing the mat so much easier than traditional roll-up mats. Easily the best mat I’ve ever used and a gym essential! The length and comfort while using the mat exceeded my expectations. Extra portable with the straps provided. Above all else, this exercise mat stays clean. With the traditional rolled mat, you’d roll up the dirt and grime where you couldn’t figure out what was the top and what was the bottom. I'd been needing a new yoga mat and a friend recommended this one - it's been perfect for me! It folds and comes in a bag which makes it super easy for transport. A couple other pleasant surprises are how long it is (I'm 5'9" and can lay flat which isn't usually the case) and that it doesn't slip or move around as I'm working out.
