So these work, much better than my old wheels on the 10 year old Travelpro carryon. But they were such a pain to attach, like I almost gave up (and I’m the weirdo that likes to build IKEA stuff). But the roll smoothly. Only weirdness is that they aren’t that even, the bag now only rolls with the back facing forward. Annoying but it’s so freekin smooth I’m not that bothered. Read more

I bought these wheels to replace the worn ones on my older Travelpro rolling suitcase. The fit was perfect — the wheels matched the mounting holes exactly and installation was straightforward. These worked well for my TravelPro 29” bag. It is an older one and the original parts are no longer available. These fit relatively well but these are two wheeled instead of one, which is probably better. However, if all four wheel sets are on the ground, it does not roll straight. I bought two more to swap with the others so it will roll straight, hopefully. UPDATE: It rolls straight with all four wheels replaced. They are easy to install except removing one of the old ones was tougher than planned. Be sure to secure the two screws on the curved side of the wheel base first. I am a recent/real purchaser of this product. i was trying to replaces the wheels on my large Samsonite luggage bag (32X20X12). DO NOT BUY these wheels as these wheels are after-factory replacements that are not proprietery of Samsonite, nor do they fit/work. For starters, the holes do not line up on the old holes that hold the current wheels. Also, even if one would choose to replace the wheels (I bought 2 packs for 4 wheels total), you'll need a special balance to align all 4 wheels to be level and roll all together, which is next to impossible without factory machinery. Also, you can't just replace one wheel as it won't be level with the other three factory wheels. My issue with my old wheels was a few wheels were sticking, and I did try to oil/lubricate them, to no avail. I'm going to try to lubricate them again. if that doesn't work, I'm going to have to get a whole new suitcase. Bottom line, I am processing the return now. Don't waste your time/money on these.
