An okay alternative to Luminaria
For the money, these are very pleasant flameless candles that do the job. I do miss the moving flame found on more expensive versions but, alas, you get what you pay for. Battery life is acceptable and the remote works well. Read more

They are NOT waterproof
I bought the “waterproof” candles to go in my outdoor lanterns. They are outdoors under a covered porch. At best they get water on them if the wind blows but not much. After a week or so they were full of water and wouldn’t turn on. So I returned them for replacement. When I received the new ones I used waterproof caulking to go around the candles flame to keep water out. After a few weeks they would not turn on AGAIN. New batteries wouldn’t fix it. Now it’s too late to return. I would not recommend for any outdoor use. I won’t buy again Read more

Attractive, durable, and functional
I used these pretty candles in enclosed lanterns as part of a display in a hot & sunny location last fall. They started and finished the season in a bright orange and are back out this fall. They put out bright light, and the timer function works well. My only minor issue is the base is very hard to remove to install/remove batteries. Read more
