Amazing value, makes milkmaking a breeze!

This was one of the last gadgets on my wish list for our low-key "preppers pantry." We are trying to be ready for anything, up to and including being able to pivot painlessly from dairy milk to plant milk, should there become further supply chain irregularities. Notably, we are already seeing our [Superstore Grocery Chain] frequently out of stock on cream and certain cheeses in November 2025. Therefore, for the past couple of years we've been collecting coconut flakes, nuts, rice and soybeans to keep for milkmaking in the event one day the grocery store is out of milk entirely...a scenario which appears more and more imminent each day now in America, somehow. Also, one member of our family is allergic to dairy. Purchasing plant milk is wildly expensive AND those are heavily processed and contain a lot of additives. It takes less than 1/4 cup of almonds to make a quart of almond milk. It takes less than 10 minutes to make almond milk in this machine. It's truly painless to use! I usually whip up 2 quarts for the week. Everyone in my family drinks and enjoys it, and we're now only buying dairy milk for certain recipes. Beyond it's ease of use and obvious cost savings over time, the most impressive point about this purchase is the VALUE. It comes with an impressive array of accessories (they truly thought of everything!). The quality is impressive, ESPECIALLY in terms of the reasonable price point! This would make an incredible, impressive, and useful gift for anyone. Think wedding gift!!! Think Christmas, even birthday. I'm truly satisfied with this purchase, and I'm a tough customer. Don't hesitate to pick one up! Read more

Homemade soy milk

Katherine KimFebruary 8, 2026✓ Verified purchase

I bought this because I heard that you can use it to make soy milk from soybeans. It blended the beans very smoothly. However, when I put it too many soybeans, it sometimes took a long time and wouldn't start right away, which was a bit inconvenient. Still, overall, it's very powerful and effective. I really liked that instead of drinking overly sweet store-bought soy milk, I could easily make homemade soy milk at home. Read more

Excellent

It works great and makes smooth delicious nut milk. There is no unblended solid residue left behind from anything I've made so far. The down sides are that the quantity it makes is a bit small, only good for two bowls of cereal, and it makes some noise. I haven't tried soy beans yet, but I ordered some. I've mostly made pecan/date milk. Chia seeds make the emulsion separate so I don't recommend using them. Home-dried bananas work too. I've been thinking of trying adding some crystalized ginger also. I tried using mixed lightly salted nuts and that tasted bad as milk, though good as nuts. Thinking about trying making peanut milk, and using other spices. There are so many things you can emulsify into milk with this! Read more

Easy, efficient, tasty (but hot enough for soybeans??)

I'm new to making nut/bean milks and have done a little research on how to do it safely (especially soymilk). I've had this for a few weeks and have made cashew milk and soy milk so far. It's impressive how finely the nuts/beans are ground up. I've opted to not strain the milk for the added nutrition. There is no grittiness and the flavor is great. I gave this a unit 4 stars because of the temperature at which the soybeans are heated. The boiling point where I live is 210 degrees F. But my unit only gets to 205 during the bean cycle (I used a cooking thermometer to gage temperature at different points in the cycle). I reached out to the company to see if there was a defect in my unit (soy beans have anti-nutrients are supposed to be boiled for a least 10-15 minutes to break them down). I received a timely response. Customer service and a unit's engineer assured me that the heating elements reached 212 degrees, and said that the ingredients inside the unit get hot enough. Despite the engineer's assurance, I've been taking the extra step of boiling the final product (soy milk only) on the stove for 10-15 minute more just to be sure. Read more

Don't even bother…good concept, with no follow through

Alex ChongMarch 17, 2026✓ Verified purchase

I wanted to give this product a much better review. But after three (3) replacements, I really can't. The first came with something broken/loose in it. The second worked well, until barely a month of usage (not even daily, twice a week), the motor started showing signs that it was struggling. As if it was on its last legs. The third came, after one use. I knew I couldn't keep it. It was struggling from the start. You are better off trying the GreenPan Nut Milk Maker. That one makes better sense. The entire process is basically the GP maker basically cooking/boiling/stirring the beans until they are done, then, and only then does it start blending. Read more

Melting plastic smell/ very loud/ delicious milk

DylanFebruary 6, 2026✓ Verified purchase

If I was only reviewing the flavor and texture of my cashew milk, I would give it 5 stars. However, the machine itself has a pungent melting/burning plastic smell that gets very bad while in use. I also have to wash my hands after touching the cord because that also has a strong melting plastic smell that stays on my hands. After several months and at least 20 batches made, the smell has only slightly faded. I worry this could be a fire hazard. The machine is also extremely loud so I have to make my milk upstairs in the bathroom so I don’t disrupt the whole household. Read more
