Our 12+ yr old rescue pound pitbull mix was just recently diagnosed with very possible leukemia. She has been a part of our home and family for 9 years and we were heartbroken. She is older, we do realize that, but in the last 4 months she had really lost stamina and is having seizures every few day. So we had a blood test done through our vet and found her white count and lymphocytes are very high. We won't do Chemo but decided to do a sort of hospice care for her and love her as much as we can in her remaining time with us. I decided to try some good vitamins for her. Now you have to understand that she was just barely plugging along. But the last 2 days she really has picked up in her energy..not spry like a young dog but I am very encouraged by these vitamins to at least make her feel better..We do love her and I am going to do the best I can. My dog is an overweight (137 lb) 14 year old Lab who is having difficulty walking. Because he has teeth problems he won’t take the tablets so I have to pulverize them with a hammer & put them in his milk. I DO see an improvement after he takes the powdery form of this pill in his milk. I just wish this company sold their product in powder form so I didn’t have to spend time hammering the pill. I have a 13 years old golden lab. I was looking for some senior dog supplements, and was led by good reviews for these. Labs are not picky about the food, but when it comes to any kind of tablets - she always splits them out no matter how well they are hidden and mixed with food. In this case - she just loves them. I was surprised when I offered her plain tablets, presuming she would turn her head. But not in this case! Since we are using them just for a short time, I can't tell if there are any benefits yet, but definitely no side effects. I wish they came in a dosage one per day, so I wouldn't have to count every time, but it's not an issue. They are hard, not soft - but she doesn't have any problems chewing them. So far so good. She is generally of a good health, so I hope this will help additionally. I will continue to buy these and will update the review after some time of usage. Read more
