This is the best fragrance-free skin cleanser/shampoo I have found. I originally bought it at a health food store to use on my skin in the shower. When they changed the fragrance in my shampoo to one that set off my allergies, I reread the label and realized this could double as my shampoo. This has a faint, pleasant smell but no perfume have been added to it. It is also sulfate-free, so it is extremely gentle on hair. Although it's not a soap, it lathers better than others I've tried, and it doesn't dry my skin. I love that it's biodegradeable and safe for my septic system and even rustic camping. Being able to buy it by the gallon is very econimical, as it lasts me a really long time and is a huge price break over buying by the 12-ounce bottle. It's one of my favorite products. Read more

I love this stuff and wanted to get a gallon. Got it today, with no paper padding or other packing material in an oversized box, so the lid ON A GALLON JUG was broken and unusable. Thankfully, the foil seal was intact. The gallon jug itself only comes in a plastic bag, so no padding whatsoever. I had another gallon jug that I was able to transfer the gel into—but I shouldn't have to do this, and it's infuriating to spend all this money and have it arrive in an unusable jug due to lack of care. We were going through a small bottle of this product every month, so super-sizing it was just what we needed! It cleans without leaving a residue, but more importantly, it kills bacteria on the skin to prevent body odor. Its a must for the sweaty guys at my house, as well as the little girls.....I put it in their bathwater because it is soap free and will maintain their normal ph. It says fragrance free, but does have a minor pleasant peppermint-y smell. I can't tolerate fragrance in most products, but I am just fine with this one. Highly recommend! Read more

Nutribiotic Super Shower Gel has changed the way I bathe. My ultra-sensitive skin responds so well to this, and there are very few products I can say that about. Per suggestion on the bottle, I tried it on my hair. Amazing! Previous soap/shampoo products that I've tried were either too harsh or caused a buildup in my hair; this product does not. It keeps my hair clean, full of body, and tangle-free. And the most amazing part is that I no longer buy conditioner, which I've ALWAYS needed in the past. In addition to no longer buying shampoo & conditioner, I also gave up my specialized facial cleanser. Not only am I saving money, but bathing has become the ultimate in simplicty, shampooing from head to toe with this single product. I even use it for shaving. From my local health food store I purchased an opaque 16oz. bottle for this shower gel. With only one (label-free) bottle on the shelf, stepping into my shower feels spa-like. So much better for the environment, too. (I recycle the gallon jug when finished with it.) I would never go back to buying multiple containers of products. And packing for a trip has never been such a snap. Side note: The fragrance-free version has a considerably purer ingredient list than do the scented Nutribiotic shower gels. Being one who has auto-immune issues, and allergic to everything this gel is the end all. I can use it on my whole body and hair, and have also put it in all the hand soap containers. I even washed my pillowcases and lingerie in this plus a little oxyclean, and WALLA, no swollen or itchy anything. Rinses clean, so that you don't feel like you have residue. Has a STRONG unpleasant odor, don’t bother adding essential oils because nothing was strong enough to mask the smell. It smells like the old soap made from pigs fat. No lather, and mixture turned from honey thick to running water when I added a few drops of essential oil and gently stirred. Don’t waste your money! Read more
