I bought this body wash with my boyfriend in mind. I'm super into sustainable products and he hates that I buy bar soap instead of liquid body wash. I saw that this was sustainable, cheeky and sounded like it smelled amazing, so I gave it a purchase. Of course, I had to try it myself and… WOW it's great. A few highlights: 1) One tree is planted per purchase in collaboration with One Tree Planted. Love that! 2) Luxurious, fun and cheeky packaging that makes “body wash” an experience before it’s in your shower or on your skin. Would be great for a gift! 3) Fancy little twist cap that I didn't expec. Good for avoiding having too much product come out. 4) Speaking of too much product, a little goes A LONG way. It’s very sudsy (in a natural way to boot), so I anticipate the bottle lasting a good while. 5) The smell!! Complex, unisex, woodsy, and warm. It has a slight sweetness so it doesn't have that aggressively woodsy, exclusively “masculine” smell. Great for women or men. It lingers on the skin for a good while in a pleasant, subtle way. I’ve never tried anything from Laurel Bath House before so I was excited to try out this Laurel Bath House Nutrient-Rich Body Wash (Medium, Cuffed). It’s a really nice first impression. Love that you just twist the cap to pour out. BUT That’s about all I liked. The scent was awful, to me personally. It smelled “old ladyish” with a side of earthy - but not a good earthy. It lathered well but made my skin feel really dry. I had to re-wash with a different body wash and unfortunately, threw this right in the trash.
