I've had this mixer since 2021. That's also the last year I bought bread from a store (outside of sourdough, but finally figured that out last year...). It makes making bread go so much faster (I did it by hand before). And it can handle heavy dough. I make a honey wheat dough that is heavy! (Makes 2 loaves and 6 dinner rolls) Mixer gets it through about 95% of the process. I have to pull it out and kind of knead for a minute after because it tries to climb out of the bowl at that point. To speed up the process between batches (I usually do several doughs in one day) I bought an extra bowl and crank drive. Anyway, I love this mixer. I want to address the common issues in the bad reviews. -SLIDING DOUGH/STICKING TO HOOK- there is a learning curve when it comes to order of operations. The FIRST time I used it, I had the sliding problem since I added the dry ingredients first and then added wet to them. Seems to work best by putting in the wet ingredients first and then the dry (half a cup at a time). And then speeding up the paddle as the dough gets thicker to kind of 'fling' it off the hook for kneading. If it's going too slow, it will just spin on the hook. Additionally, if there is too much flour, it will slide because there is no friction. I've been able to adjust by adding a few drops of water. -COOKIES - yeah, I don't really use it for cookies that often. But it would be best to use the dough hook for cookie dough. The cookie paddles can't handle it. Maybe if they were metal instead of plastic and just smaller versions of the dough hooks...but alas.... -SMALL BATCHES - it doesn't do well with small batches (like one loaf of bread). This isn't a problem for me since I'm not going to pull out a mixer and make one loaf of bread. For loose mix like cake, batters, pie filling, the bowl scraper attachment is genius. -OVERHEATING - Have NOT had this issue. Even with my heaviest dough. I run it about 15-20min during the process. It might just be the luck of the draw on that one. -PARTS THAT BREAK - I haven't had any breaking parts. But that's because I read the bad reviews before I bought it. The whip drive I have is metal, not the plastic one. I don't use the cookie paddles at all. The whisk paddles should be used with whisking things (cream, eggs, butter...). No issues with the cake paddles. I have a back up crank drive since I've seen that those break, but the original one is still going strong. CLEANING - as this was my first mixer, the cleaning process seems fine to me. But I hear the KA mixer is easier. Hot water, soap, a straw brush (The ridges in the bow) and it's clean for me. What a nice mixer!! So easy to use. Easy to add ingredients, does a great job mixing and kneading the dough! To top it off, it's lightweight so easy to move from place to place! I've only made bread dough a couple of times in it so far and looking forward to using it for cakes and cookies. The only negative thing I have to say is it's difficult to get the dough out of the bowl! Could be the recipe perhaps. Investing in a bowl scraper so maybe that will help! Way easier to use than my older kitchen aid Heavy mixer! Read more

What a difference this makes in bread making. Saves me so much time. Kneads bread beautifully. I now experience that windowpane that you are supposed to have in well kneaded bread. I am very careful to not overload the motor. My bread recipe uses 8-9 cups of flour and I make 3 loaves out of it. The mixer has never had a problem. I knead bead on speed 2. The mixer is not too loud. I chose this mixer based on its power and price. I would definitely buy again. I have been using it for 3 months now. Read more

The design is absolutely wonderful and it’s very powerful but it was much bigger than i thought, a little heavier than my kitchen aid. It was VERY LOUD, so I had to return it Read more

I make my own bread and this gets me to windowpane each and every time! I also like how easy it is to take apart and clean after each use, and that it is compact and can be stored away easily. And the cord is retractable, which means no messy cord hanging around! Read more

Nutrimill Artiste Thought I would love this to save my 35 Yr Old Kitchen Aid. The plastic bowl makes great sourdough, but the Motor is not strong enough for Cookies. So Disappointed. I thought a Nutri Mill Product would be awesome. Not. Read more

I did a lot of research on the best and affordable machine to buy. This was an investment for me. I'm older, have arthritis in hands, but love fresh bread!! I read in 1 review that said this machine didn't do well with only making 1 loaf of bread. It's only my husband and myself, so I knew I would only make 1 loaf of bread as we needed it. I took a chance, this machine is amazing!! It does wonderful on small recipes. I just wanted to let everyone know, while the cost isn't cheap, it's worth every penny. It's light weight, I have no trouble moving it where I want it. While it's mixing dough. The suction cups hold it firmly in place. Very happy with this purchase Read more
