These are cute but I wish they were a higher rise. This is more of a mid rise style. Definitely ankle length even on me and I'm petite. I ordered my regular NYDJ size, size 4, which fits but feels a bit more snug than my other Marilyn jeans and they don't hold my mommy belly in as well due to them being a lower rise than I'd like. I wear an 8, being under 5 feet I chose a Petite, on the safe side I ordered a 10 Petite. Way too small. They look fantastic, material feels great, but I can't wear them. I'd take them out but there is no material in the back or side to work with. Very disappointed, they look great, but not for me. Read more

Great , however NYDJ regular size is too long and pettite cuold be slightly longer but still fits ok. I loved those trousers when i saw them on other web sites so i was really glad to see them much cheaper on Amazon. Looking forward to more finds like this Read more

The comfortable, stretchy, washable ponte fabric and the pockets were the big selling points of this pant for me. BUT, the right-hand seam was incorrectly stitched and bulged outward. Moreover, while the pant is described as a "straight pant," the legs actually flared out a bit. Because I liked the fabric and the fit was good, I kept the pant and had it altered. My excellent tailor was able to correct the seam stitching and taper the legs. One other thing: NYDJ says you should buy a smaller size than usual. I strongly disagree! I'm a 4 petite in every other pant but initially ordered the 2 petite in this pant. I had to send it back because it was just too tight. The 4 petite fits me well. Read more

I like the fit of these pants. Im not a fan of the washing then hang dry. Ive had many Ponte fabric pants in the last 15 years. This fabric in my opinion should be named ponte. Ponte is a much softer knit, wash and drys well. Read more
