This bag is awesome! It's super lightweight, has a comfy adjustable strap, and met all my criteria for a travel/daytrip purse: - crossbody style - at least one zippered exterior pocket (bonus if more) - big enough to hold an iPad mini and cardigan in addition to wallet/phone/keys - main compartment zipper goes from back to front This last one is where a lot of brand-name bags (Away, Baggu) fail for some reason. Not sure why they make this design decision, but that was a big turn-off for me as it makes the bag harder to open and is an easier opportunity for pickpockets. The slouchy design and materials are a pretty clear riff on the Baggu Nylon Shoulder Bag, but with the addition of an external zip pocket and two elastic pockets (which are ideal for a water bottle and sunglasses/umbrella). The only minor shortcoming is the lack of a key leash, but it is very easy to make& attach one if you have basic sewing skills. The only downside is that the bag I received was clearly a return (covered in pet hair, bag and box had been opened)--but a wipe down with a damp sponge took care of everything! Read more
My absolute favorite bag ever!! I’m always the friend that has everything in her purse, and this purse works beautifully for that. I have two kids, one being a 2 month old infant. Inside this bag, I can easily fit my wallet, a travel deodorant, a travel dry shampoo, a bottle of lotion, a hairbrush, my wallet, a travel makeup pouch, AND a few diapers and a pack of wipes. The color is perfect: a beautiful, understated army green that goes with everything and almost works as a neutral. I will be purchasing more colors in the future. I switch out my purses almost weekly, but I’ve carried this one for months now without switching to a different one. I almost didn’t want to post this review so the bag doesn’t get too popular lol. Great amount of storage. Can fit snacks, book, phone, wallet, 2 drinks, etc. The only issue is the strap tends to slide off the shoulder. The strap is long enough to wear as a crossbody. Fairly lightweight and seems like good quality so far. Read more
Got this bag because my Baggu Crescent Medium got too small to carry everything I needed. It's absolutely PERFECT. Honestly did not expect to be as satisfied as I am! Everything fits, the side pockets are great for easy access items (I keep keys and hand sanitizer in them). The bag itself is lightly padded which gives me more confidence carrying electronics inside (camera, ereader, etc). I do feel like the strap doesn't hold very well when I adjust it, so I have to readjust every now and then. Read more
I bought the size large and it is huge. I did read the measurements and compared them to the brown bag I am currently using. It said it was only an inch bigger. The description picture shows it has a crescent shape which means it should dip down in the middle of the main compartment. It does very slightly but not as much as my other bags or in the description pic. So it looks really bulky and boxy. The main opening seems too narrow for such a big bag and the strap is really thin compared to other bags this style. I was really looking forward to getting this bag. I got this for vacation so I could take what we needed as we headed out for the day. It held three rain jackets, two water bottles, sunglasses, and a small bag of chapstick and such. I love the crossbody strap(I'm 5'3"). I do wish the strap was like 3 inches longer for my husband. It has two inside pockets and one outside zipper pocket. It was also perfect for the plane to fit a book, headphones, passports, snacks, coffee/water bottle, and a change of clothes. Style-wise, it was gender neutral so that was great so the guys would carry it too. I used it for a week everyday, and there are no tears at the seam. Great deal for the price. Read more
perfect big size, nice quality, and super soft, but the material is a literal pet hair MAGNET. if you are in a pet free house this would be great for you, but I have to lint brush it multiple times a day because if it’s even remotely close to cat hair it will be covered. it NOT the same nylon material that baggu has, I think it’s cotton and it is really comfortable and plush but the amount of hair it gets on it makes it almost unusable.
