I don't give many 5 star ratings. Belts are simple devices, so there is little to go wrong. I almost did not purchase this one because a lot of people gave it low ratings for being too hard to unbuckle. I have to admit that at first it was a difficult but, after a little practice, I have decided I really like the buckle. It is a little harder to unbuckle than most other buckles, but it stays buckled while wearing it. I will now purge my closet of a few belts that will not stay buckled while wearing. Read more

Belt seems durable but the latch is difficult for the user to push the button to unlatch. After many uses, it gets easier, but still will be a challenge for people with weakened mobility in the fingers. Read more

Would have beed a better rating if they used a tradional Fastex buckle. Developed in 1977, been in use by US military and outdoor companies ever since. The buckle used has an extra feature. This requires 3 fingers( one with finger nail) and two hands to release. I would have returned, but I modified it myself. Cut off the piece in the pic and eliminate the need for the 3rd finger and nail. Aso, the female side of the buckle should be on the fixed end. Makes threading the belt loops easier. Read more
