Very cute. I did size up as suggested. There is elastic on the back of the waist, so I could have gone with small, but medium feels better. For reference I have about a 26/27 inch waist. The colors are vibrant. The fit is fun and "vintage. Love the pockets. Read more
I really like this skirt. It was a good value for the price. I ordered a medium because I didn't know if the waist size was taken stretched or flat (there is elastic in the waistband), so I could have easily gotten the next size down. Still, it's cute and met my need! Read more
I'd previously ordered this in the XXL (based off their size chart) and the item was miles (ok 2-3") too big. Sizing down was definitely necessary. I have a 39" waist and the XL fit perfectly with enough ease to be comfortable for wearing. I'm 5'2" tall with shorter legs. This hit me just above mid-calf. If you're a taller person, this would probably be closer to knee-length. The length doesn't vary much between sizes which is an added bonus. The skirt is made very well. The fabric is a nice sturdy cotton that feels like it will wash up nicely. The print is impeccable with no visisble flaws and goes almost all the way through to the reverse (ie textile was well saturated when made). All seams are straight, hem isn't crooked, pleats are evenly spaced and it HAS POCKETS!!! I have not measured the actual garment waistband but it does sit exactly at my natural waist which fluctuates from 37-39" depending on the day. I sew for a living and this is absolutely a skirt I would make for myself if I weren't busy making for other people. Overall this is a 5 Star item. I gave it 4 stars for versatility, because there's only so many places you can wear a sakura festooned skirt. 10/10 would buy from this maker again because of the high quality. Read more
