These are really nice! Soft shell pants with a soft lining. I am usually a size 16w in jeans, and have to get a size 18 in the Obermeyers. All of their models. Maybe the jeans are more forgiving. What I liked about these the best is that out of the 5 different Obermeyer pants I tried, they had the most comfortable stretch in the leg. They stretch a little when bending and squatting, which will be so nice on the slopes. I am not the smallest person and I appreciate that these are more fitted in the thighs and around the knees because all others that don’t have that, make me look like a rhino. The two negatives to me are that there should be a stretch panel built in the waist like the Sugarbush model, which would make them much better fitted in the waist. And more importantly the inside thigh does not have a zippered vent which is a must in all ski pants and I really don’t understand why Obermeyer skipped this important feature….but I am not marking them down a star for this since I knew that before buying. The media could not be loaded. These are so soft and comfortable, also very flattering. They don’t squish your but, and the hug you really nice. I am 5’7 and 148 lbs. I have these in a 4 long and the size 6 Regular, they both weirdly fit me about the same waist wise but the long 4 gives me more room in my legs. I have 2 pairs of these bond pants and I love them. For reference, I also wear Burton and North Face insulated pants in colder or wetter conditions. These Obermeyer pants are way underrated in terms of warmth at a 2 out of 10, I have yet to be cold and I've been wearing these in the high teens to low 20s. Sometimes I wear them as-is without a base layer or leggings, other times I put a silky layer underneath, but because they are fleece inside you really have to have a slick fabric under them or they catch. I have yet to come home with a wet behind from icy or snowy chairlifts, though they are only a 4 out if 10 for water resistance. They are a sweet boot cut bordering on bell-bottoms and hug in all the right places without feeling tight. They've got a nice bit of stretch and look more like actual pants than most ski pants. I know these are a little higher in price than some other options you can buy, but these are SO COMFORTABLE. I tried them on and I didn’t want to take them off!!!! They fit and hug in all the right places, they stay up and stretch with you but still stay snug when you squat and bend move etc. They don’t smoosh your butt into a uni ass like some tight ski pants do. They have a super soft like fleece type lining that is super soft and comfortable. They don’t dig in or run anywhere. They feel like leggings. I love these!! I tried 4 different pairs on Amazon and these are by far the BEST ones! I am an avid yoga/legging wearer and I wanted something similar to ski in. I tried the north face, artic quest, etc and these fit the best and were the most comfortable! I sized up on these since ALL the others ran really small and these are little big on me so I would say these are true to size and probably could have went with my normal size.
