Avoided spending the money for years. Too many tool bags later, wish I hadn't. The quality is outstanding. They are heavier and will hold a lot of tools. Have to be careful to loading up too much for too long, but that useful aspect can't be beat when you need it. Read more

I work in steel studs and drywall. I get frustrated when I have to stop what I’m doing and look for something that I have dropped or I’m not caring on me. So, I load up and have extra pencils and sharpies. I carry a lot Apex’s and drivers for all sorts of different fasteners as well. This bag is nice for some of the unique features. It also has several features I do not care for. First thing I did is removed the Hammer loop off the front and replaced it with a clip for holding Battery power tools. I would rather not knee my hammer every other step. I wish the main bag had a few smaller separate compartments so all of my tools could stand up and stay in the same spot. This is my second pair of Occidental tool bags. I’d hoped to make it to retirement with my previous set but hey, they served me well for 25 years. When it finally came time for replacement the only question was, “Which Occidental bag best suits my needs” as there are many more options than when I last was in the market. Not once did I consider defecting to another brand. My new set up is big oxy tool bag on the right, big oxy fastener bag on the left riding on an occidental 3” belt with sheepskin hip pads.
