I got this to go camping, and it worked amazingly!!! The light is super bright, and the fan worked great. It was warm, so the fan created a nice breeze when I used it. I also hung it from the ceiling of my tent, & that was the only time I didn't feel it as much; however, it kept the air from getting stale in my tent, so I was a happy camper. I wanted this fan for camping and when we go to the beach. After reading my reviews on different fans, I decided this was going to be my Best Buy. Once the product arrived, I was not disappointed. This fan is lightweight and built with quality materials. It was easy to remove the top to access the battery compartment. Put in two D cell batteries, and you’re all set. The different settings on the fan are a great feature as well as the light. The hook makes it great to hang from the center of the tent. This fan puts out a decent amount of cool air. The light definitely comes in handy when it is super dark and you’re trying to find something or simply get in and out of the tent without tripping over something. I have not used it enough yet to know how long the batteries will last but it’s easy enough to carry a spare set whether you were camping out at the beach or simply relaxing somewhere. This fan is set at a great price point and performs wonderfully. If you were looking for a decent size fan compact enough for camping yet big enough to put out a decent amount of air with the added light. This product is a great option. Read more

This item is just okay. It works pretty well as advertised, but the "fan" portion really just provides white noise opposed to actual air circulation. It's kind of bulky to transport. Although it's easy to setup, I ended up replacing this item with a different lantern and light. I couldn't figure out what it was, but there was also a light chittering noise when the fan was on. Couldn't figure it out, but replaced it anyways. Read more
