It's also a style that can be dressed up with a fancier sandal or dressed down with a more casual shoe so easily something that could go from a summer christening to a casual get together - very versatile. The material is on the thinner side which is what you want for summer but it's not sheer so it's not see-through. It has a nice give and a bit of stretch to the fabric.
