It does work great, very pleased. However, I purchased this one because the description said that there was no awkward unwrapping, laying flat. Upon opening the box, the instructions clearly stated that it had to stayed rolled for 24 hours, temp adjustments and then corners weighed down. I bought this plastic chair mat for my study room. The mat helps to protect my wooden floor. The mat is thick and sturdy so it protects better. The mat is semi transparent so I can still see my floor color and not noticeable. The mat also water proof so if the coffee spills. I can clean it easily. The size fits well and it is better to estimate the space of the desk and cubicles. The mat is shipped in a roll and I just unfold it for a day to let the mat stretch.
