The OHLECTRIC dimmable LED's come with an E26 base (a standard size most often used in homes) and a five year warranty. At 3000K (Kelvin measures a light source's color temperature, indicating whether it appears warm [yellow/orange] or cool [blue/white], with lower numbers [2700K] being warm and cozy, and higher numbers [5000K+] being bright, cool, and daylight-like), the LED's are in the range of typical incandescent "soft white" light bulbs, and they have a CRI (color rendering index) of 80+ which is good (a rating of 100 CRI shows colors closest to their actual appearance). They give a slightly warm/comfortable and "welcoming atmosphere in any room" (I found that in actual use, the light is less warm than that pictured in the listing images. Personally, I would not want lighting that warm. The commercial lighting image is more representative of what you can expect). A typical incandescent "soft white" light bulb produced 750 lumens (lumens measure brightness-light output), which is the same as the OHLECTRIC LED's. The energy savings is impressive when compared to our previous incandescent lights (9.5 watts vs. 65 watts). And, the 25,000 hour lifespan for the LED light, when compared to the 1,000 to 2,000 hours for a typical incandescent, is beyond amazing. These lights are most appropriate for recessed ceiling can lighting and "can" track lighting. General tips on LED lights advise that you use a dimmer specifically designed for LED lights, as standard incandescent dimmers might not work well with LED's and could cause flickering. I have incandescent dimmers, and I did not notice any flickering as I dimmed the LED's. One nice feature of dimmable LED's is that as you dim them, the energy use drops in a linear manner (unlike incandescent light bulbs). The 3000K soft white color is warm without being yellow, making rooms feel comfortable while still providing plenty of usable light. At 750 lumens, they’re bright enough for kitchens, living rooms, and hallways without feeling harsh. Installation was easy, and all four bulbs worked perfectly right out of the box. They dim smoothly with my existing dimmer switch, with no flickering or buzzing. I also appreciate the energy efficiency, since they replace higher-wattage incandescent bulbs while using far less power. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that the light spread is a bit more focused than some other flood bulbs I’ve used, so placement matters if you want very even coverage. These BR30 LED bulbs provide a nice, warm soft white light at 3000K that works well for indoor recessed lighting. Brightness is good at 750 lumens, and the light is even and not harsh, making them a good fit for living spaces. They are also dimmable, although I am not using them with dimmer switches. So far, they’ve been reliable, lighting instantly with no flicker. Energy efficiency is a plus, and they run much cooler than traditional bulbs. The claimed 25,000-hour lifespan (about 22.8 years based on 3 hours a day) is impressive, and the 5-year warranty is a nice added reassurance. Overall, these are solid LED flood bulbs with good color and brightness for everyday indoor lighting. That said, when comparison shopping, these come out to about $7.50 per bulb in the 4-pack, compared to other brands at roughly $2.33 each in a 12-pack or $1.98 each in a 16-pack, which makes them harder to justify. We have been replacing old light bulbs with LED bulbs for energy savings and ordered these for use with our ceiling lights. I much prefer the "warm" color of lights, and these fit nicely into what I like for reading and ambient lighting. The brightness of the bulbs is about the same as we had in, which was a 60 watt light bulb. But the light seems to diffuse better, perhaps because of the shape of the bulb. But I think they fall short of being called a flood light. Our living room lights have a dimmer switch and these do a nice job dimming, without the flickering that we sometimes see. Time will tell how long they last, but LED lights generally will save money and last many years, so I expect these will do the same. Read more

The 3000K "Soft White" is the perfect middle ground—it’s clean and bright enough for cooking, but still warm enough to feel inviting. They provide a solid amount of light (750 Lumens) without being blinding or feeling like a hospital.
