Lost my Owalla bottle, picked this up as a replacement. This is much easier to clean and fill with ice, but the spout takes a little getting used too. I put ice cold water without ice in it the first day and checked all the way to the next morning. It kept almost the same temperature the entire time. The Owalla bottle had an issue with opening sometimes getting it out of a backpack but this one has not, nor has it ever leaked. This bottle keeps things cold crazy good. I have had crushed ice keep my water cold and still have ice left 24 hours later. Like the color also. I don’t use the straw part but use the chug part. If it was a round lip instead of an oval shape I would like it better. That’s the only thing I have not been thrilled about with the bottle. That’s a minor issue for me. I bought this because I wanted an insulated, leak proof water bottle with a handle. I’ve been using it a few weeks and it met those requirements. However, the handle is a bit narrow and sometimes squeezes my fingers from how I’m carrying it. Today, I accidentally dropped it. The bottle had both drinking lids closed when this happened. The lid of the chug side (non-straw side) cracked and is no longer leak proof, which is disappointing. It seemed like a great bottle, but the durability of the lid is not enough for me if it cannot survive being dropped. Read more
