I just needed some finge wrap to support my extra strong adhesive fingers. So I was pleasantly surprised to find out this stuff doubles as protect tape and hand grip tape as well! For this price, I thought it would be no good0, but I was wrong. It's OK. This tape seems to be of excellent quality. I immediately put some on a couple of my fingers to wear through the day, just to see how it would tend to wear through handwashing and general work. I was not doing anything especially taxing so as to really give the tape a workover, but it did stand up beautifully. I am particularly impressed with the capacity of the tape to stick well to your skin. Even through 8 or 10 hand washings, it clung on without any letup whatsoever. In fact, while the tape is clearly intended for more hardcore activities like rock climbing, I feel that it will be tremendous for finger sprains, wrist support, or anything like that by taping a non-injured finger to a healthy one for support, while working or playing actively. The tape is so strongly made, that one cannot merely pull the tape to tear it off. Since I am accustomed to utilizing duct tape and ripping it, I was surprised with how powerfully made this tape is. I also feel that the tape would be tremendous as a first aid tape on a cut or wound. Obviously, one would not put the tape directly over a wound, instead one would utilize a sterile pad cut to size with a bit of wound dressing or antibiotic dressing or creme. Then, one would put a layer of this strong tape over that to hold the gauze or sterile pad in place. I would definitely recommend this strong tape for the uses the manufacturer indicates, as well as properly used, for first aid as well. It seems to be excellent tape with tremendous holding power.
