I really like to try out new lighting fixtures occasionally, just to see what’s on the market. This is a great, well-designed fixture for bathrooms and other areas! First, installation. Installation was very easy and did not take long at all. The included mount and screws made installation easy. There are plenty of different slots in the mount so at least two of them will align with the holes on standard junction boxes. Wiring is super easy, just connect the wires color for color, with the ground going to the bare copper wire, and you’re all set. It was a bit difficult to shove all of the wiring into the back of the box as the LED drivers took up a lot of space inside, but it ended up not being very difficult. 10/10 installation ease. Once installed, this light is pretty cool! The switch on the side makes it super easy to adjust the color temperature. I spent several minutes flipping between the modes to find the best one and settled on 4000k. It’s nice that I can change it in the future if need be. Additionally, both light bars can be rotated 360 degrees, to adjust their output direction and get optimal brightness. This is extremely appreciated, as so many fixtures have really cool lighting elements, but they aren’t adjustable, so it makes the fixtures useless. You can also remove each side, I’m not sure if it’s a good idea to operate it with only one side plugged in, but you can do that. The build quality is pretty good, the LED bars fit very snugly into the main housing, and they are metal and feel solid. The base is a bit weaker, but it’s definitely solid and should hold up for a while. My only complaint is that the light output overall is a bit dimmer than I was expecting, but not so dim that it’s unusable. Overall, this is a solid LED bar light. It’s also dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch, giving me full control over the ambiance. The construction of this light fixture is high-quality aluminum, which feels solid and is rust-resistant, making it ideal for the humid bathroom environment. The installation was straightforward – for the electrician! 😊 It did not take him long to get it hung for me, which was good for the total cost. The overall look of this vanity light is sleek and modern. The brushed gold finish is attractive and the elongated double-arm design is very much on trend. Installed above a bathroom mirror it makes a genuinely stylish statement, and the multiple color temperature options are a nice practical touch. The caveat is the diffuser shade, which is visibly cheap plastic up close. For a fixture at this price point, you'd hope for frosted glass or at minimum a more substantial acrylic. The plastic undercuts what is otherwise a good-looking light and is noticeable if you're paying attention. It's not a bad fixture by any means. It's a large size, functions well, installs without issue, and looks good from a normal viewing distance. It's just priced at a level where the plastic shade feels like a corner was cut that shouldn't have been.
