Why do some companies have to strike down things that have been loved by many for so long???!!! I have read many reviews that agree with me here, the Old Spice Classic fragrance only has a trace of the old time long time delightful fresh clean scent of original Old Spice, and this so called "Original" Old Spice costs twice as much as the Classic fragrance but I could hardly smell any of the actual original fragrance, and even the new fragrance was gone in a very short time after I splashed some on. The new fragrance (even that seems weak to me) of both Classic and "Original" is a bitter spice smell, not the fresh, clean sweet tang of that of bygone Shulton Old Spice. Why??? It's quite ok for the makers of after shaves, & colognes to make additional fragrances like Shulton Old Spice had done with it's Burley & Lime fragrances, for example, but why eliminate the longtime beloved true original fragrance??!! Why be like the dim witted storekeeper that got in a new brand of cereal that went over real well with his customers but after a while quit carrying it because he figured what is the sense in putting this new cereal on the shelf when it never would stay there? So, why stop making the true original Old Spice scent when there is such a large demand for it? Read more
