Great design, I really like this and got 2 more. It is a good width for cup holders. I love the strap to hang on gym equipment handles when working out for easy access. The flip lid is also nice for ease of use. I really like the filter lid because I like to add fresh ginger, limes, whole herbs, cucumbers, and tea bags to my water for taste - the filter keeps them from getting in the way when drinking. This water bottle looks great. It is a great size for all-day hydration, with excellent water flow (more of a pouring style than a straw style), and it doesnโt smell weird. I like the stopper at the top, to allow for putting ice or fruit in the bottle without stopping up the spout. The strap seems sturdy, and the pop-up ring at the lid is a nice addition. It's a plastic water bottle that isn't insulated. The only features the bottle offers are a pop-open top with drinking spout, attached fabric handle, and a filter piece inside at the mouth of the bottle to keep ice from getting through as you drink. This bottle does not feature a straw which means you'll have to turn the bottle bottom-side up to let the water come out of the drinking spout. I've used this bottle for two work weeks. PROS: - No leaks experienced. The seal in the lid seems to work well. Just make sure you close the lid tightly. Turning the bottle upside down in a bag has not caused any leaks. - Protective spout cover keeps the drinking spout clean of any debris. One press of the button with my thumb and the lid quickly pops open. The benefit is that the lid won't open inadvertently. Also, you won't need to touch the drinking spout with anything other than your mouth which is also an advantage. - Attached carrying handle is made of a nylon woven material that seems sturdy and is attached via a plastic ring around the neck of the bottle. The ring can not be removed and therefore the carrying handle can not be removed. The handle is sturdy and long enough to allow for carrying the bottle comfortably. - Drinking spout is large enough to get ample flow of water for drinking but not too big that the flow would cause gagging. - Filler lines and motivational quotes on the side of the bottle. These might be beneficial to some but I have yet to fill the bottle according to the lines or read what is printed on the bottle. - Cleaning: The bottle cleans easily with regular dish soap and warm water. I use a small scrubbing brush to clean the lid and drinking spout as well as a dish rag inside a chop stick to clean and sanitize the inside of the drinking spout. I've only used the bottle for water so I can't attest to whether any part of the lid or the bottle stains with liquids of any color. I have not and will not wash this bottle in the dishwasher so I can't say how well it withstands washing in a dishwasher. - Size: The size of the bottle is thin enough to fit inside a typical cup holder. The bottle holds about 32oz of water. I usually fill with ice and allow the ice to melt to have cold water. CONS: - The carrying handle can not be removed even for cleaning. Count on the handle to get wet and stay wet for awhile after washing. - The push button requires a certain amount of thumb pressure to release the lid. - There is a semi-rubber type of grip strip around the lid which allows for a good grip to loosen or tighten the lid. The drawback is that it seems to become discolored from whatever is on your fingers. I've had dirty hands and fingers, sometimes with printing ink, and can't seem to clean the strip back to its original white color. - Narrow bottle opening: The bottle opening is narrow making it difficult to fill with ice from an automatic ice maker/dispenser. Filling the bottle with ice manually is also a challenge to do without having ice falling to the side. Neatly filling with ice means I have to repeatedly take smaller amounts at a time which is more time consuming when I'm in a hurry. A minor gripe. CONCLUSION: I recommend this water bottle, even though I paid $14 because of the following features that work: 1. No leaks 2. Ice filter to keep ice separate from the water as you're drinking. Be aware that smaller tiny pieces of ice will get through. 3. Carrying handle that is sturdy but doesn't add any bulk or awkward part on the bottle. 4. Protected drinking spout. The pop-open mechanism works well, is sturdy, and protects the drinking spout from the surrounding environment which ensures you won't be putting debris in your mouth when you sip. 5.
