I originally bought the OLIGHT Sphere for camping, but it has quickly become a permanent fixture on my nightstand. Another great Olight product. No complaints. I primarily use the white light and red light settings. I assume the “light show” function is fun for kids but otherwise not something I use. A bit fiddly without the app - all commands are on the central (bottom) magnetic base where you can attach the carabiner. Magnetic base is great for sticking on random surfaces. Very cool and fun. I purchased 5 of them. They make great little ambient light accents and double as nightlight. 4 star rating because the app is absolutely horrible. It's easy to control each light separately. Big drawback though is grouping is difficult and the light's lose sync and dissappear or show as not available within the group. Regrouping forces a name change on the specific light and basically just adds a new number at the end of the name and no way to delete or change the name. Often the spheres require you to update everytime it loses connection with the group or in the app singlely. Grouping needs a major overhaul for improvement and the app interface needs to be simplified and intuitive and not fight the user/operator. I consider myself a fairly skilled technology centric person. I do repairs on high speed production equipment and syncing and communication of equipment is where I spend most working hours. So I feel this shouldn't be that difficult to set up and keep it easy for every day folks. Read more

i have two of these and several other models of this olight. they are magnetic, they are orbs, they are lights...they are waterproof. these lights kick so much ass. one tap turns it on, hold to switch between high + low brightness and double tap to shut it off. perfect sized bag light. these die a bit quick, but the pro's can last literally days without being switched off, while on the white light on the dimmer setting. amazing. this model has awesome light variations and is surprisingly bright on the higher setting. rockstar. I own 4 of these olights and use them almost everday. I'm not new to the olight brand and I have been very happy with every purchase of these. Love the magnetic charging base. Love that the base of the light sticks to any magnetic surface. I often have one stuck to the fidge door for ambience. I use these camping all the time. Sticks to my Coleman stove lid while I'm cooking. Stick them on the outside of the van when sitting under the awning. Stick them in the van when you want ambience. The red light will last all night for a night light. I don't use the app because there are more than enough color choices without it. I got these for less than $12 during a sale. You can't beat it.
