As a Vine Voice, I have to admit that clothing is my favorite product to review. I also rarely think that an outfit is complete without a jacket or cardigan. But then again, I live around the 45th north parallel, so it isn't often that I'm without a coverup. So I know my cardigans! That's why I ordered the lovely sheer cardigans. In the majority of my reviews, products start out with five stars. I deduct stars for each characteristic that could be considered universally unfavorable. I've given this lovely sheer cardigans five stars. Let me explain: Does it fit? I usually wear a size 24, so I ordered the cardigan in size 2XL. I found the open front cover ups to be well suited for my frame and curves. The sleeve length was just right, and the drape was perfect to wear over a body suit or a simple cami. It wasn't too short or long. Is it comfortable? I wouldn't wear these cardigans as something to use to warm up. They are very sheer. The fabric is polyester and flows around the body quite well. One is black and one is black with a terrific floral pattern, so these two jackets are exceptionally versatile. I wouldn't find it comfortable with a thick long sleeved shirt, though. What are the features? I'm all about the sheerness of the fabric. This gives the viewer a hint of what's underneath but not full exposure. I've worn it with a healthy black bikini top, a black tank, and went orange and black pattern with the black cardigan. It wraps fully around me, but if I felt like striding around like a model, it'd flow back beautifully. I'm free to move around, which doesn't always occur with sheer fabric. Will it survive many trips through the washer and dryer? The fabric is 100% polyester. You'd normally see these chiffon-like cover ups and think that you'd need to handwash them. Nope! I'm clumsy and splashed an espresso on the flowered one, and it washed and dried with my other clothes perfectly. No sign of the coffee drink anywhere. Is this constructed with quality in mind? There are no buttons or clips to close this, which I think is the way it was supposed to be designed. That leaves the hems to keep things together, and they do it well. I don't think I could wrinkle these, either. I do admit the mesh seems a bit on the fragile side, though. Not enough to worry. Do I like the way this looks on me? A good cardigan/jacket/coverup should always be roomy, if you ask me. This isn't a shrug or anything you'd see on a bull fighter. This is meant to be the icing on the cake, the attire that pulls a full outfit together. And it does it flawlessly. Is this worth the price? I'd pay twice the price for the very same thing elsewhere. These little sheer cardigans have about a thousand different uses, I'm sure. Fpr me though, I know exactly where i want to use them. They are going to be amazing as swimsuit cover-ups next summer. Specifically I have repeatedly run into the situation where we have stayed longer at the beach than intended. Since it's near sunset everyone is starving but everyone is tired. No one wants to go home and change to go out and grab dinner. We also don't want to eat fast food but no one is dressed to go sit down and eat. Clothes are damp, shoulders have gotten too much sun, and all the things are happening. I will be keeping these loose fiting but pretty cardigans i my seat storage to throw on over my arms or to top my swim suit cover dress. It will absolutely save me on those evenings that happen more than they should. Besides the lightweight, flowy design that is ideal fro summer, especially when we've had too much sun. The color choices in a single package is really appreciated. Pretty, lightweight, fast drying, and reasonably priced sounds like a deal to me. I wear a lot of sleeveless tops during the summer, because it is so hot here. But when I go places I like to wear something to cover my arms. These kimono type cardigans are perfect. They are so beautiful, and so light you can barely feel them. The length of the cardigan itself and the length of the sleeves are perfect. Just what I need. They enhance any outfit. I absolutely love them. I thought they would just be nice to cover my arms, but wouldn't help much when it comes to keeping me from getting cold when inside buildings. I often have a problem when it's in the triple digits outside and then you come inside and it is freezing. The really high temperatures are over for now, so I can't really tell, but they have helped with giving some protection from getting too cold inside. I didn't expect that. So, they are not just a decorative accent but also useful to have just enough on to not get too cold. I really enjoy them. Read more
Two for one price is such a great deal for these cardigans. They're so versatile, you can use then to the office or to the beach. With the choice of a solid color and one with flower designs you can combine them with different colors. I think they look particularly well with jeans but also compliment shorts and skirts. Very disappointed. By the picture, I thought these would be more like wearing a dressing wrap for a nice profit. These are sheer and incredibly lightweight they are more see-through than cover. They are also incredibly big. I ordered a large for my size and they could easily be a 2x in size. Read more
