Slippers have been an endless battle for me as my feet get older and need better support without sacrificing comfort and warmth. The market is flooded with low cost slippers of both name brands and off brands and most of them lack proper foot support. I'm sorry, but memory foam is a bad choice for the soles of slippers if you have any form of foot issues. And frankly, most slippers on the market use thin memory foam which offers no support or protection of your foot. When my new OluKai slippers arrived yesterday, I unpacked them and tried them on and whoa... are these comfortable! The term fits like a glove feels like walking on air actually applies for these slippers. Easy to put on, yet feel like they were custom made to snuggle your foot. Great attention to detail in design, as if they actually had your foots well being in mind when they designed them. While not inexpensive, the price is worth it as I fully expect these to last much longer than the random typical $30 slipper. So in the long run, the cost to put slippers on your foot is probably better with these. Surprisingly light weight for the comfort and support. Some slippers are kind of clunky on your foot, but not these. The sole inserts (which are removable and can be washed) are outstanding. Good as my support inserts I have to put in all my tennis shoes. I love the bottom treads, as they are non-slip, non-marking, and appear very rugged yet not thick and heavy. I cannot speak to durability yet, but just from careful inspection I can attest that the workmanship, quality of materials, and in particular the stitching is very well thought out with selected reinforcement at key areas where most slippers start to fall apart with use. I expect, since I am not really hard on slippers, these will last me years. OluKai has a new customer in our family, as I am ordering these for my wife and daughter as well. I plan to order a pair of their sandals next, and then something from their shoe line. If they are as well designed and crafted as these slippers.. I may become an OluKai all-the-way customer. My partner loves these shoes. He wears them all year around in every condition and every season and every weather you would think of I know that they are warm they fit him well they are thick enough. The souls are protective. They look comfortable, but still have a good quality and they can go for casual or dress up. Read more

First note, use the sizing chart provided in the pictures. It is accurate and I could have saved myself a little time if I did that first. I am a size 13 with one foot that is slightly larger than the other. I originally ordered a 13 and the larger foot was just a bit cramped. I thought that with time and maybe shoe stretchers it would get bigger, but I decided instead to order a size 14. I am glad that I did. The size 14 fits me very well. After they came in, I looked at the sizing chart (which honestly I never really do) and it seemed pretty spot on. In terms of comfort, I really like these slippers. This brand always conforms to my foot shape extremely well. I have had these for two days and I already noticed them getting even more comfortable as it shapes around my feet. Clearly I cannot comment on the long-term durability, but these feel well built and very solid. These are pricey slippers to be sure. However, I work from home and I wanted something very comfortable that I can run out and get the mail if needed. These fit that bill so far. If I have any issues in the future, I will update the review. I have spent close to $100 on slippers before that felt 1/3 the quality these seem to me. Read more

I’d buy them if they were double the price. I am a slipper snob. Call me Cinderella, I guess. For 20 years now I come home, take my ungodly uncomfortable dress shoes off and immediately get in my indoor/outdoor slippers. All year round. For 20 years now, I’ve gone through AT LEAST, 90 different slippers. I honestly couldn’t even tell you if that’s even close. It’s probably way more. Anyhow, I was recommended this slipper by a friend who is also a slipper snob. So if he recommends it, I’m giving it a whirl. (By the way, we’ve both have been giving each other recommendations on slippers for 20 years now). So I order them. It’s been a year now since I’ve bought them. I wear them every single day. I even travel with them when I’m out of town for work. Sometimes I wear them with socks, mostly with out . There is not a single stitch that’s come out, not a single scent to the slippers, and SOMEHOW, they get even more comfortable the more you wear them. The insoles form to your feet. Olukai never disappoints in comfort, style, durability and looks. Out of the box perfect fit and more comfortable that most slippers I've ever had. I wear them most of the day in my home office and my feet are always dry and never sweaty like in most slipper brands. The sole also allows me to wear them occasionally outside without any risk to wear and tear I have many Olukai shoes and the slippers are equally as good. Very satisfied and am a lifetime customer. I almost didn’t buy when I saw the price but I’m so glad I did. They are well worth it. I bought for my elderly father and he loves them. They are light weight, comfortable and keep his feet warm and secure when walking. He can use them both indoor and outdoor. They are very well made and the quality shows outright.
