Easy to install, works well
I'm currently using this to hold an easy bar on the wall but it would certainly hold a men's standard Olympic bar (45 lbs). I even tested a hex bar with it... not sure of the weight of the hex bar but it is at least 40 lbs... this mount held it up easily. It was pretty simple to install by myself with the use of a cordless drill to create pilot holes and a screwdriver to put in the screws. I screwed it into a stud using a stud finder. My main tip is to make sure you measure the length of the collar of the bar you want to hang and leave a few inches of clearance to there is room to lift your bar up and into the bracket, because you can't just slide it straight in due to the little tabs on the face of the mount that keep the bar from slipping out. Works great and easy to install
Works great for storing my barbell when not in use or off from the floor when I need to move stuff around on the rack. The padding minimizes sliding and dampens a bit of noise. I mounted to a stud rather than using the included anchors, but installation was easy. I leveled the hanger, marked the holes, drilled pilot holes with a 7/32 bit, partially drilled the screws in with my impact wrench, and leveled again before tightening the screws down. Read more

Looks good. Hold both my 20kg and 15 kg bar just fine. Wish it did come with rubber/plastic padding for the edges where the bar slides in. Hardware is sufficient. Read more

Genuinely happy with this purchase. The product is sturdy and pretty good quality. I mounted two of them onto a 3 1/2 ft piece of 2x6 wood that was attached to the wall with lag bolts.
