I wasn't sure what to expect. Some people say it's too firm, and others say it's too flat. Some say it smells, others say it doesn't. I wanted something firm, but not too firm, and this fits the bill. It is very soft in the way it needs to be, while also being firm enough that my knees knock against each other. I did notice a very faint scent, but it is not unpleasant at all. It's actually kind of nice in a way. I haven't slept with it yet, but I did try it out. What started out as a simple test of firmness and comfort (maybe a minute or two) turned into a struggle to tear myself away from it. I managed to do so, but it took about 15 or 20 minutes. It wasn't until I caught myself starting to drift off that I realized that I should get up (too early for bed just yet). I'm 5' 11" and the sizing is perfect. As a side sleeper, I just tuck one end between my knees, and the other end under my head, and throw an arm around it like it's my girlfriend. I can already tell that it it going to take a lot of pressure off my shoulder when sleeping on my side. I'm very happy with my purchase so far. Read more

I’m a hot sleeper and this pillow keeps me cool. I purchased a satin pillow case for it and that also helps with temperature control. It’s great quality and made very well. The zippered case comes off and can be washed. It’s incredibly soft, fluffy and heavy. Has the perfect amount of memory foam inside of it. I like the pillow, but I'm giving it 4 stars because the zipper on the bamboo case is flimsy. It wouldn't zip after the 2nd wash and then the pull came off the track completely, and there's no getting it back on. I had to buy a different case, and it's quite disappointing because I really liked the bamboo. Other than that, the pillow did have a strange smell as others have mentioned, but that eventually subsided. It's very sqishable and you can reshape it. It does feel quite cool, especially now that I'm using a silk cover for it. However, with my new cover being thinner than the original, I can feel the lumps from the foam pieces more, and I don't care for that. But I don't sleep on it...I use it as a space filler in my bed, something to snuggle with, or elevate a leg, or drape it over myself like a comfort weight. It is versatile in how you can use it and makes my bed more cozy. The company needs to come up with a better zipper on the case. Read more

We’ve had this brand as our bed pillow before. It’s a great body pillow. I’m a forced side sleeper so I need a pillow that makes me think I’m on my stomach. I am 5’2” 125lbs. So it is good for my whole body. I tried it full at first. It was way too fluffy. I took out about 1/4 of the filling. Now it is perfect, and I have extra filling for later! I recommend this pillow, but definitely get a cover for it. The labeling on the pillow is textured. Read more

Pretty heavy, hopefully will hold up over time. The smell is pungent in a weird way. I know memory foam has a chemical smell at first but this smell is different than that. It’s like a burnt smell that is kind of nauseating if you are sensitive to smells. Will try washing with vinegar and on hot to see if it helps but if not I can’t keep using it. That is why I give it three stars. The firmness is good for now. Read more
