Had my bathroom redone and the person doing it installed a new toilet for us. Shortly after completion I found the toilet rocking a bit when in use. I could even smell a bit of sewer gas coming up from where the toilet was supposed to make a seal. Concerned about the gas and the rocking, I wanted it fixed quickly. Having done a bunch of work around the house and having changed three or four toilets myself I ordered this product and installed. This thing worked great. First time buyer of this product and I'm very pleased with the ending results. Our original flange was cracked when 1st installed some 30 years ago I had fixed it with a repair ring & using a wax seal which just plain gross to deal with. Never again will I use wax seals. When I got this it worried me a little. Ive had it installed for maybe 2 months now and havent had any issues. Install would be easy unless you have cast iron plumbing instead of pvc like me but never less not bad at all. It comes with everything you need to install and easy to follow instructions. Worked great. I was worried when I read that the existing flange had to be no more that 1/8th inch above the floor, as my toilet was still installed and I did not know the height. Turned out mine was about 1/4 inch below the tile, so prefect. I loved the design, with the flexible silicone rubber (?) seal and the thick bolts that lock in place with a ferrule, foe easy toiled installation. The included diamond wire saw was also a great addition, as it easily cut the bolts, to height. My only complaint was the six included screw for screwing down the new flange to the old flange - they were just wood screws, which were totally inappropriate for screwing the new flange to the old, stainless steel flange. Fortunately, I found some stainless self-tappers of the right size, to attach the flange. But for this problem, it would definitely be a 5 star. Read more

My toilet could move (rotate) side to side and I was looking for a solution. I probably could have just tightened the flange nuts but was curious about the condition of the wax seal because every time I cleaned the toilet it would still smell gross. Anyway the wax seal was fine but still decided to install this flange seal over the original one. It was super easy to install, the seal is reusable if you ever have to take the toilet apart again, and it gave me a chance to clean the underside of the toilet and caulk it. Toilet is as fresh as can be and I have no leaks. This is an awesome solution, especially if you are dealing with a broken flange or need to replace the wax ring. The only issue that some might have is that this will not work for flanges that sit 1/8” above the floor or tile. Thankfully mine was under the floor but you wouldn’t know until you take apart the toilet. This should work for most people but just be advised! Read more
