Love these so much, I can't believe I found such a good pair on Amazon. I have such a hard time finding jeans and waistbands bother me SO much if they are remotely tight/not stretchy. These are perfect. Snug on the waist but very stretchy so they won't give me sensory overload. I'm 5'4 and about 140 (currently 5mo postpartum). I have a 31.5in waist and simply don't have a tiny waist for my stature. I purchased the 28 due to another comment with someone's measurements (as opposed to the size guide) and glad I did because it is PERFECT. I'm very short torsoed with long legs and these hit right at my belly button, which is usually where mid to low rise fits on me. (Everything is high waisted on a short torso girl lol). Jeans are perfect length for me. Feel great on the thighs and butt, nice and snug. Very soft and stretchy jeans, feel like high quality. I truly can't believe I found these on Amazon. I love these jeans so much! I bought the dark and light wash, but my favorite is the darker wash. Both are really flattering, comfy, and the quality feels very good. I think it has the perfect amount of wide leg without being too much. I also love the mid-rise fit and length. I kept going back and forth on what size to get because some people say there is no stretch at all and some say it is very stretchy. I would say there is a moderate amount of stretch and the waistline feels comfy, but also depends on how much you size down (as some people want it really form fitting and go down a couple sizes). Depending on the brand I am usually a 12-14 right now and I have a muscular/curvy-ish build. I went with size 30 (which according to the chart was slightly downsizing by 1 size, i.e. 11s). I think it fits great, the perfect amount of not too tight, not too lose but I also feel like if I continue to lose weight it won't get too loose to fast, as in there's still room to look and feel even better in them before needing to size down. I sized down 2 sizes which was my fault, because these ended up being just too small in the waist. They still fit pretty good though. I love that they stretch in the hips, because it’s usually a struggle to find jeans that fit in the hips and the waist like these. They’re mid rise, which is also hard to find in the right fit. The material is really soft and comfortable, and the ads are right, they literally feel like sweatpants. They’re also sooo flattering, they really lift and shape your butt nicely. Read more
Love these jeans! Just the right amount of stretch so they aren't tight but don't get baggy while you're wearing them either. I'm 5'2" and 135 lb and the 28 fit great in the waist, hips and thighs - they are a tad long but I just wear them with heeled boots or platform sneakers. Read more
